thinking i need to get out of the house and take a trip. anybody been on smith lately? hows the water and fishing? i assume this weather has the majority of bass still suspending a little deeper and maybe coming up in the afternoons? thanks for any info

hey thanks for the replies. i was planning on topwater early and late, just wasnt sure if they would be exploding all day this time of year. i have my eye on gills creek done good there other times, then just point bouncing all day. probably focus on main lakeandmaybe by dam as i have done good on those littlepoints leading up to the island above dam. might knock the dust off the arig as well

hello i will be visiting smith mountain the middle of october and have never fished there before this time of year. i was hoping maybe someone could lead me to some info on places to try or what is going on this time of year. i assume they could be schooling, is there certain areas better than other? please im me with any suggestions and i would appreciate your help kindly. have a great fall season!

the mouth of gills creek can be dynamite to as well as in gills if you go check the above spots mentioned.

is it worth fishing the muddy water or go down and look for clear water?

the fish are full on here in wv/va, then it rains and cools and they pull off, then it warms up and they are full on, then it rains and cools down yadayadayada. very cazy spring fo sho

hello folks, i am coming to buggs for the first time the first weekend in april and was just wondering about current conditions and what to expect, etc. launching from the oconeechee (sp) state park does anyone recommend a go place to start? i have a 115 on my stratos so i was going to try and stay relatively close. thanks in advance for your time!
