Thanks Hogsticker for that info. I was hopeing for more responces. Just to change lanes, I read very good things about the St. Croix Avid crankbait rods. Any comments anyone?

PS, I would like DMV to comment on his take on the quality of this rod.

I foregot, put on the right rod and it will throw ANY bait you want to throw. Light or heavy!

I own both the BB1 pro and the Tpro. The Tpro is much more user friendly!! I wish I had bought the Tpro the first time. Now I own both. BUT I like theTpro best. That Tpro is special! This comes from an old man that got his first BC reeel in 1958. I have'nt used them all, but I know a good one when I fish it. YMVV!

I have both of the 2pc. rods with 2 of the MH. The MH will do what you want with lures from a 1/4oz up. Lighter than that, save yourself some money and get the 2pc. 6'6" Vengence. I like mine a lot for small lures, and it will handle 5lb. bass all day long.
