Great interview.

What lure do you keep a secret???
No sir, I have not. The reason I love the FattyZ with the weighted wide gap is the horizontal fall of the bait, with tail quivering/wiggling. Very much like a weightless senko, but a faster fall, so I can cover more water. Not sure what the turbo tail would do to it.

I just went back to look. Yeah the minimum to receive free shipping is 26000 yen…approx 190 bucks. Thanks!!Kyle46N started following Lowrance Hook 12 series verse Elite 12 series , Asian Fishing Portal and Weighted wide gaps- Asian Fishing Portal
Went to order a couple nasci’s from asian fishing portal for 78 bucks each. All good until shipping comes up as 65 bucks! Am I missing something? Anyone else order from them, and can verify shipping is that high?- The latest sale thread
Mine were all freshwater use. My father saltwater. The mechanical components became loose. The bail arm went out on two of them. The magnesium coating would almost “bubble” up in areas.- The latest sale thread
Do not buy pflueger supremes! They don’t last. I had 3 of them all go bad within two years. Same happened for two my father bought.- Weighted wide gaps
I use them (2/0) for small swimbaits in grassy areas. If they are quality swimbaits with good plastic, they’ll swim. I don’t use anything less than an 1/8.- Weighted wide gaps
That’s great! Never heard of them. Thanks!- Weighted wide gaps
Anyone have a source for 2/0 weighted wide gaps with a decent selection of weights….1/8, 3/16, etc?- Lowrance Hook 12 series verse Elite 12 series
Any opinions on the difference between a 12 inch Lowrance Hook 2 12 and the Elite 12 ti2? Is the upgrade worth it? Big difference from description seems to be wifi and bluetooth capabilities. Is the side imaging quality the same? GPS charts same? Thank you!- The latest sale thread
Sportsmansoutfitters also has the Falcon Buccoo SR on sale for 79.99.- Are Megabass jerkbaits really king or is it a confidence thing?
To the OP, if you would like to throw a nicer quality jerkbait, without paying an arm and a leg. The IMA lures Flit jerkbaits are great. Awesome castability, true suspension, sharp hooks, decent colors, and durable. I've caught over a 100 bass on the Cal Delta one flit, and it's still going strong. Ya get that Japanese quality for 10 bucks.- The latest sale thread
I miss being around an Academy so much. They always have great deals on end caps, etc, and sometimes the deals just get silly. San Antonio, TX has I believe 7 Academies in and around the city. I used to make Academy runs for clearance items and save an insane amount of money. When I lived there for several years courtesy of the military, I was able to buy a life time supply of Southern Pro Hot grubs in my 4 favorite colors ( I crappie fish a lot too). I'm not exaggerating when I say life time supply. And never paid more than 50 cents a pack of grubs.- Tatula CT and CT Type-R
Bought one in the fall of 2017, and had the spool break within two days of use. Daiwa replaced/repaired. I get it back, and now it makes a loud rattling noise when casting, based on how loose my cast control is set. If it's loose because I'm throwing lighter lures, it rattles. If I tighten it up with a heavy jig, etc, no noise. This is was my attempt at trying a different brand other than Lews. I'm going to stick with Lews. No coincidence I own 8 Lews, combo of Tourney pro's, MB's and BB1 Pro's, and have had not even the slightest issue over 7 years. I've never used Shimano, but I hear the same sentiment from Shimano guys. - Asian Fishing Portal
