Thank you for this post. Looks great! I am in the same situation with my foot pedal recess being to small. I havent purchased the Ultrex yet but was planning to soon. Looks like quite a project and some additional expense up front just to prep for the ultrex installation.... Was it fairly easy cutting the hole for the tray? I also noticed you mounted the ultrex gps puck on the dek it mount. I was wondering if that was an option? Definitely better than drilling more holes in the boat! Thx

Thanks for the replies! It's 5 minutes from my house so the investment in additional permits is less than the gas to lacygne. Fished Gardner lake last weekend for a few hours. Caught one fish on a shakey head, no bites on a jerkbait. Water temp 39. Going to try again this afternoon after the sun has had some time to warm things up.

Does anyone here have much experience on Shawnee Mission Park Lake? They are doing their annual trout stocking next week and I was just watching a video on YouTube of bass in California eating trout as they are stocked. Just made me think maybe there are some big bass in that lake assuming they are big enough to eat a full size trout. Throwing some big swimbaits on those deep bluffs this time of year could be fun!

Thanks. I went out last Saturday first thing fishing the reeds right in front of the plant with a frog, had a few strikes but the fish never got it. Caught one good one before the storm rolled in. I really think I would have done well but it was looking too sketchy to stay out. We waited a bit at the bait shop and finally decided to leave... So only fished for an hour.

Nice fish! Seems like you always get a nice fish when you go down there from the posts I have seen. I am going out to Lacygne on Saturday to try to find a top water bite with this cool overcast weather. Sounds like I need to stay south, and if I cant get bit on top switch to a shakey head right! Are you finding fish shallow or deeper stuff, any tips you don't mind sharing I appreciate. Thanks!

Has anyone fished Lake Lenexa recently? Can you drop a gas powered boat on there as long as you only run the troller?

I fished Gardner lake Sunday. Lots of fish on beds. Mainly males, the females I did catch showed little or no sign of wear. So I think they are just moving up? All that said it was tough to get bites on moving baits, everything I caught was finesse.

I am guessing everyone got blown off Wolf today??? Maybe good tomorrow! Still can't decide. And giants rolling out of lacygne has me interested

Where would you go if you had all day Monday to fish? Thinking about Wolf Creek but wouldnt mind staying closer to KC.

I know where you are at and the quality in that lake is impressive! (obviously) I have never fished there during spawn but I am planning on it this year!

Does anyone have a feel for when the bass start spawning on La Cygne and Wolf Creek? I fished Wolf Creek a lot last year in Early March and it was getting ready to happen. Catching some fat females up shallow but then the wind blew for the rest of the month and I never got to follow up.... Where is this information from?

Need some help/advice on registering my boat trailer in KS? I have moved from TX and have already taken care of the boat transfer w KDWPT. My question is do I need to register the trailer and do you need a license plate in KS? In the past (5 years ago) I never had a plate on my trailer and was under the impression KS didn't require it but I am receiving different feedback from the KS website.... Can anyone clear this up for me? Thanks!
