    whats the most productive retrieve to work a spinner bait what size and color
  2. looking for help figuring out how to fish large rivers with slow currents the one in particular has cypress trees extending out from the bank varing from a few feet to 40 feet most spots drop of 20 feet from outer edge. almost the whole river looks the same except for the occassional boat dock seems tidal and level effect fishing the most. cannot put any patterns together only catch a few early or late. river might be 20 miles or so long and empties in lake pontchatrain just n of new orleans need some tips with tidal bass thanks
  3. trying to figure out tickfaw river in louisiana water has been a little high SE wind been blowing for days anybody out there familiar with tickfaw or any large rivers with light current seems tide and water level control the bite most . how would you handle tidal conditions ?

Josh i live just north of n.o. tournament fished many yrs. got burned out and quit for 15 yrs just bought a used cajun bass boat starting back missed a worm bite how addicting they are i will try to help u out cant be sure until it gets closer depends on my schedule use to fish venice and caernoveron all the time had been there in yrs but I think i can figure something out this is ware u want to fish not the big one ur looking for but when they are on plenty quality. by the way my son is a black hawk pilot hope someone would do the same for him keep in touch
  5. something i think most of us wonder about. tried many different approaches my best advice is to listen to ur gut and learn something evrytime out on the water put all the these lessons or experiances together

  7. i find down in s louisiana fish bite hard early or late then shutdown . nothing i try helps to get another bite like the fish left the river HELP ME PLEASE
