i used to use fluoroclear. Never had issues with the handling....but the break offs (especially during hooksets) was just rediculous. I'm done with Fluoroclear

i thought it was the BPS exclusive KVD swim jigs had the rattles, and the regular ones didnt. I just bought a few of the BPS exclusive ones about a month ago and they have rattles.

Spider Grubs are one of my top 3 river smallmouth baits. When i first discovered how smallmouth reacted to them i became an addict very quickly. Needless to say i stocked up heavily, and agree the best action i've seen so far is the GYCB version. But if RAGE came out with one.....ohhhhhh baby. just sayin

i was experimenting w/ a Rage Grub on a SK swim jig yesterday. Although i didn't get bit, i can tell by the looks of this thing that its gonna be a big producer!!

unfortunately i havent yet....but thats because i haven't tried. I'll be getting my gear wet for the first time in 2012 this weekend. SO PSYCHED!!!

I've been know to drift a split shotted case hellgie in shallow river current time to time. Mostly when my go-to's aren't producing so well. Smallies absolutely love 'em

Hello everyone, First off i'd like to confess as a lurker for quite some time, i apologize for that. This site is great and i've decided to contribute and support in any ways i can. I am from Long Island, New York....and i am addicted to fishing, mostly LM & SM bass. My credentials are mostly shallow water fishing due to my geographic area. My parents have a house in the Catskill mountains, so i fish the Schoharie Creek for my Smallmouth fix as often as possible. Over the years I've become a self proclaimed River expert, although this has never been documented.
