The Human Reaction When Catching A Fish
I don't know how I react when I land one, but I know what I do when I miss or lose one... I let out a deep eeehhhhh, followed by curse of the moment. Then I look around to see how many people watched me make an arse out of myself. Unfortunately, it happens quite often.

Wacky Rig W/ Nail Weights
Pretty cool! I'd buy 'em if they came in worm matching colors.

Wacky Rig W/ Nail Weights
I put them dead center in the worm... Then I put my hook through the worm so the weight is "behind" the hook. I feel that I get more use out of a worm this way. It's a lot harder to tear a 1" nail wieght out of the worm then a tiny hook. Another tip: Use a toothpick instead of a nail wieght in the same manner... It still strengthens the worm, but allows a slower fall. (recently read that in a magazine) Good luck, BJ

When Do You Guys Switch?
Depends on the depth, vegetation, and size of the pond. If it's your standard "bowl" pond, and you could cast roughly halfway across it, you could overly work a lure in twenty minutes. I break ponds down to cover, and open water (usually the middle). Crank or spin the open water to search for strikes. If none, worm or jig the edge vegetation. Key in on lily pads... Top lure over first, crank the edges, then work your way in with a worm/jig. Switch the bait when you question whether it wil work or not.

Hey man, welcome to pa! I live in Se pa also. My favorite lake is Marsh Creek... Ten pounders are in that lake! Other lakes to try near the area: Chambers Lake (decent), Struble Lake (ok), Nockamixon (need boat), Octorara Resevoir (tough fishing). Lower Darby Creek/Del river, Susquehanna river/flats, Allegheny river. Blue Marsh lake. Farther away, Lake Wallenpaupack, Beltzville lake, Mauch Chunk lakee (awesome). Pm me for some info on Marsh if you like.. I know that lake better than most.

Worm Fishing Tips
For shallow (<4ft) little cover: 1/8 oz t-rig, 3/0 ewg, 7" powerbait ribbon tail. Heavy cover and shallow, 3/8 oz t-rig pegged, 4/0 ewg, ribbon tail, or zoom lizard. 5-10ft- all cover, 3/8 t-rig, 4/0 ewg, gulp 7" turtleback, 2/0 straight shank wacky 5" senko. deep- 3/8 t-rig 7" turtleback, or 1/2oz 10" manns jelly on a 5/0 ewg. You really shouldn't pick up grass on a t-rig worm... Do you hide the hook in the worm?
