hey, does anyone else have a power pole with the wireless remote? I realized on the water my power pole didn't engage when i pressed the the wireless remote. the LED light on the remote and deck remote show power with the LED turning on when keys are pressed. But the motor doesn't turn on and also the LED on the power pole motor doesn't lit up either.. Could this be a fuse issue? Just wanted to know if anyone had this occurrence before with their poles. as the tech support is closed until Monday. Thanks, -zildjian

I'm looking to purchase these or maybe the Mini style boat buckles. Any thoughts after using these pros vs cons?

Hey, I just realized these retractable tie downs exists and I very much want them now for my tracker lol. Quick question for anyone who owns Boat Buckles, would you recommend the standard size or the mini size buckle? I feel like the standard is big and bulky for my tracker and I see they also have a Mini version as well, I just don't want to make the mistake of buying things twice. Any thoughts or recommendations from you guys that have either one of these products would be really appreciated. Thanks, -zildjian

Thanks wayne, I have the 1198c SI Combo. I'll check when I get home for work what software I have as of now, but I never updated since I bought it back in 2012. I just figured any updates would be good from almost two years ago.

I picked up my humminbird back in December of 2012. I never did any software updates yet. Is anyone familiar with the steps I need to take to get the latest update for my unit, and is the newer updates really worth downloading? Thanks, -zildjian

Wayne, do you think Humminbird will ever release the Auto Chart Live for. 1198, 900, 800 series Models? I don't understand why it limited to ONIX and ION models only.

Humminbird has Auto Chart Pro. I'm going to start looking into this, think this is what that guy was using for our lake

Has anyone ever used this before? I'm Thinking about picking this up for one of the lakes I fish, but I have no idea where to even begin. Looks like I need to purchase a blank SD card as well with the Humminbird Auto Chart Pro. I also don't have the Onix or Ion just the standard 1198 unit.

hahah that guy with the glasses at West Marine told me the same thing last year! He said it was a jockey from the race track that did it. How do you map it yourself? I'll do it myself if I have to lol. With all these updates that these chips keep getting with new lakes, you would think they would map out PWC.

Hey, Thinking about picking up a lake map chip for my humminbird 1198 unit. I'm not sure which brand to go with between these two company's for strictly lake fishing in Pa. I fish a club lake and I didn't see it on the Navionics full list of Pa Lakes. I was wondering if it's possible to somehow map it myself with sonor? Also, I can't seem to find a full list of Pa Lakes for the Lakemaster chips. If Lakemaster has my lake I fish already on it, I would just pick that up. Any thoughts? Thanks, -zildjian
