  1. If I do choose to get this reel, or the Penn Battle, what size would be appropriate for a Medium Heavy 6'6" rod?
  2. Thanks, Stasher. I think I will do that.
  3. I am looking for an economical spinning reel and saw the Penn Fierce looks pretty good. It has solid reviews and the price is about right. Will this fit in a conventional spinning reel? I notice on the reel there is a "bump" or "bulge" on the top of the handle. Other reels dont have that.
  4. Thanks guys! I will probably just leave it as is.
  5. Good question. I was initially wondering that as well.
  6. DVT, i do not know what I'd do without you. Thank you for all your help these last couple of days. You are taking worry away.
  7. Yeah, I am afraid that is what I might have to do. It's been too long since I got it to exchange it at the store, which means I am going to have to send it in =(.
  8. I got a Mojo Bass for Chirstmas in 2011 and just took it out on Sunday for the first time. I hadn't paid much attention to the rod prior to taking it out and noticed what appears to be some epoxy missing form the tip. I have included a link below. Can this weaken the tip? Should I send it to get repaired? Any thoughts or knowledge on this would be great. Thank you for your help. http://www.flickr.com/photos/54136952@N02/7087470601/
  9. Awesome - thanks all. I am looking into other rods too. I want to expand my collection and make my options as diverse as possible. I think MH is what I will go with!
  10. I was wondering what power you prefer in a rod, and the major differences, in general between the medium and medium heavy. If you are fishing for most fish out there, at some point, which power do you think is better? I mostly fish for Bass, but will be going for walleye sometimes and pike others. Is Medium heavy too much?
  11. I appreciate the help guys! I can't wait to get out and use it.
  12. If the feet were longer wouldn't more of the grooves be showing?
  13. Thank you very much. I was getting worried.
