Big Catfish Caught
Wrap up your chicken livers in some pantyhose! Cut yourself a piece off of them and tie the liver up in it making sure both sides are tied off, doing this will keep you from slinging the liver off and still give the same effect as if the bait was bare.

Help! Top Water Poppers!
Thanks a whole lot all of you! I take all your words of wisdom seriously and will be out on the lake this weekend to try and test them out. Remember though I very rarely use hard plastic baits or jigs, I am a rubber worm guy through and through. Top water is something I have only ever try'ed in ponds till recently, so I am new to Lakes with this strategy but I do very much appreciate all of your help and will keep this post up to date with my progress if any. Thank you all! Christopher W.

The Night Bite!
Hey guys and girls I know this is a "Bass" fourm but i was out on the great Lake Lanier last night with my buddy and the night bite was good to us as far as catfish goes so I have to share this with all of you because im pretty dang proud of it! Me and my buddy Micheal both caught some pretty nice sized ones and I caught 2 more small ones.

Help! Top Water Poppers!
I have had a decent amount of trouble this week using top water poppers, I fish on Lake Lanier around docks hardly ever on a boat. So I figure just use them as they are implied to use. But I am constantly casting next to docks and only a handful of times have I seen a bass surface to the lure and then all I see is his belly turn when he goes back down, never striking the lure. Am I supposed to keep popping when i see him surface or leave it be till he strikes? I cant figure out these things and my father says I may have to wait till later months but I believe hes talking about Jitter Bugs. Let me know your opinions on top water poppers and what I could be doing wrong. Thanks! Christopher W.

How To Tell What The Bass Are Feeding On.
I myself have found that if you use bright colors on bright days (Green, Red, Orange, Yellow) even if the worm is just that one solid color you get good results but then again I have had Bass bite clear worms with nothing but glitter shinning in them so use that information at your own discretion. Hope I helped man! Keep fishing!

For Those New To Shore Fishing Lakes!
Hey my names Christopher I am 17 and i have been fishing off the shores of Lake Lanier for as long as I can remember and I am here to give you a very useful tip as to how to master this type of fishing when fishing for bass. 1st off- Trust your rubber lizards! Notice I said lizards, not worms. Thats right lizards, go out buy you a pack of Zoom 4 inch mini lizards in your favorite flavor and rig it up as if it was a worm, adding a bead to attract attention in murky waters. 2nd off- CAST CLOSE TO THE SHORE LINE AND UNDER DOCKS. Casting diagonally along the shoreline will allow you to reel the lure down the edge of the water about 5-6 feet out for this is where the majority of your Bass will be in smaller lakes. Also use docks to your advantage I mean sure you cant go on them but you sure can cast beside them! Docks are amazingly prosperous fishing grounds providing shelter for fish, be confident nearly every dock will have a Bass who controls that area under it cast several times on all side as to lure the Bass out before giving in and moving on. 3rd off- REAL SLOWLY. The more time you let your lure sink and sit and sink and sit and sink and sit the more time it will spend in the water, don't rush fishing is a game of cat and mouse between you and that trophy Bass, don't let him wait you out and win the game. Always remember weather its a serious day on the lake or just a few moments near the water to get your hook wet and ease your mind, enjoy it and have fun! -Christopher W.
