    Sir/madam, I am a representative from Minn Kota Technical Service Group. After reading your issue, we suspect a possible breaker issue because something seems to be interrupting the power. Remove any breakers in-line and go direct to the battery. When you experienced the same problem with the MotorGuide and the Minn Kota, it seems more of a power issue vs. a motor issue.
