  1. From the information you provide, and if this is a serious question... I believe they are warnings, As in don't fish when there is Thunder Storm, and the other symbols meaning is to be careful of power lines when casting..
  2. I hope the snakes have not ventured that far north yet. As of what I currently know, they have made it as far north as west Boca. Please keep us updated if you do catch one up their.
  3. My current setups from the top: Okuma Trio 30, paired with a Abu Vengence 15lb braid Shimano Curado, paired with Field & Stream Tech Spec Elite & 7'3 MH 80 lb braid Quantum Exo PT, Paired with Field & Stream Tech Spec Elite & 7'3 MH 65 lb braid Shimano Chronarch CI4+, Paired with Field & Stream Tech Spec Elite & 7'3 MH 80 lb braid
  4. Went out today for a bit in the late afternoon, throwing a jd's peep toad in black. was about to head in for the night when this gal exploded on the frog. Was caught on a Shimano curado and tech spec elite rod 7'0 MH 80lb braid (for the snakes). the weight was 4 1/2 lbs on the boga grips and was 20". Great way to break the ice i guess lol.
  5. Count me in, hopefully he weather clears up down here and I can get out.
  6. I was hoping to do better than fifth this tourny, but i can say that i have seen quite a decrease in the SH population in Springs, tamarac, and margate because of these Round ups. I do enjoy catching them as I target them and end up catching plenty of bass.
  7. UPDATE: got the gopro back today will post the video of it falling off. sadly it fell lens down so didnt capture much =/
  8. Went out fishing today at a lake by markham park in broward county. While fishing my gopro hit the water and sank like rock. I was in about 12-15ft of water. I need some input on how to retrieve it. Should I just free dive to grab it or maby one of you have a safer alternative. ALL INPUT IS VERY MUCH APPRECIATED. To keep this relevant here is a picture of a 6.06 bass I caught at the spot today =)
  9. I fish them all the time, some are loaded and others are just filled with trash. Ive gone up and down all of 95 fishing them, I live and springs and test them out every now and then.
  10. That is a great spot indeed! I agree with Cpt. Shane, I have also noticed snakeheads are not right on the banks as much and are hanging out deeper down from the shore. But i have been finding quite a few hanging out in the shady spots under trees and structures. Might be something to look for next time your out. The heat must be affecting them too.
  11. They fight really good! They are full of life and you never know what to expect from them.. ill try to get some video soon of me catching some big ones
  12. Caught this monster the other day on a plastic frog! My new record snakehead 36in! Disregard the terrible pictures was poring rain and had a hard time getting photos with my camera.. Close up: on ground: Next to a size 12 shoe!: And one with me looking directly at the camera....:
  13. Horny toads or any type of soft frog. With all the rain we have been lately and all the rain thats coming in may and June they will do great in the urdan canals. Cast them parallel to the bank about 3 feet or less, you get some strikes.
  14. Thanks Guys! Went back out to the same spot and caught a 5 more decent size! also ran across a couple more gators in this residential area and they are not shy. One chased my frog out of the water and onto the bank, but as soon as he caught sight of me he hauled ass back into the water.
  15. Went fishing the other day in Springs, fished a canal and a pond that are on Coral Ridge drive. Was a new area for me but produced some really nice fish! All bass were over 2lbs and the Big ol' one was about a high 6! All of the were caught on a Purple Jd's frog. Also found this 5ft gator roaming around the canal, was really big for a residential area. The Slob! The Gator! Average bass
