  1. I'm sorry to hear your community is being tested. God speed-prayers sent.
  2. Congrats on an absolute beauty! Thanks for sharing your story.
  3. Not cheesy at all. I remember the first time I met Doug Hannon at the outdoor show in Worcester MA. several years ago, the night before I couldn't sleep. I have a lot of respect for his approach to bass fishing!
  4. Went to Foxboro BPS yesterday picked up 10 LC R. Clunn 3" wake baits, at $11.44 a piece, these were a no brainer for me. Also stocked up on frogs, top water baits, and rage shads.
  5. I've been ordering stuff from TW for about four years, never had a problem, hands down the best service and selection going on the net.
  6. Heads: Dave Matthews Band Tails: Pink Floyd
  7. Anyone who doesn't clean their car off after a snow storm. I hate driving behind these people. Loud and obnoxious fisherman. > KFOX It's the Red Sox and everyone else!
  8. Awesome stuff! Only 5 months until Pats training camp! ;D
  9. I think when people in general says or does something that offends a person, guilt and other emotions are imminent. Afterwards they some how manage to lay blame to the person they just offended. In a relationship it's magnified 10 fold. Good luck and hopefully things work for the both you.
  10. Fishing over night during summer months. Warm overcast days, foggy and a some rain ;D Punching the slop with jigs under clear bright skies 8-)
  11. My dad took my brother and I when we were about 7 years old. He suprised us both with matching Eagle Claw spinning outfits. Two years later he purchased a piece of property on the water, which is still in the family to this day. The rest is history.
  12. The Yankees payroll is gross! Didn't the D Rays teach these knuckle heads anything last year? Go Sox!!!
  13. Well stated! I fish a lot during the over night and couldn't agree with you more.
  14. First time in 10 years I didn't go. Stayed home and played with a bunch of stuff I ordered from Tackle Warehouse instead.
  15. I like Zona myself. He's mildly obnoxious, but not too loud and pretty funny.
  16. Good luck with new ride.
  17. A couple of years ago a buddy of mine gave me a custom made 7' Grandt fishing rod that retailed for $400.00. I use it exclusively for swimbaits. ;D
  18. There are two rivers that empties into Wordens. One is a launching area off of 138 just before you get to URI (Taylors landing) that you can launch a car topper and the trek is a little over a mile to get to Wordens. I believe this is the one you guys are talking about. The Pawcatuck River empties from the SW part of Wordens and streches all the way through the south county area and eventually runs into Pawcatuck CT. There is a stretch of this river you cross over on RT. 3 in Ashaway which looks looks absolutely awesome and a ramp for a car topper off 216 in Ashaway. I think this trip will require a good paddle and 2 trolling motor batteries. Can't wait!
  19. Wings so hot, you have to put the toilet paper in the freezer. Pizza Plenty of beer
  20. Has anyone fished the Pawcatuck River? I know it spans from Westerly to The Great Swamp management area and empties into Wordens Pond. There's a launch area in Ashway and was wondering if anyone has had any success on this river. I've been wanting to fish this for a while now and will be making it a point to do it this year. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks
  21. Welcome. I live in Warwick and primarily fish in South County RI.
  22. Thanks for the advice gentlemen. I'm going to try the brace a try.
  23. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to cure tennis elbow? My fishing trips last any where between 10 to 14 hours and at the end of the day my right elbow is dead. I've tried to be proactive by using an odorless joint and muscle rub, however it doesn't last. Cutting back on my fishing time is not an option. Has anyone experienced this? If so, how did you remedy the problem? Thanks in advance.
  24. Nice looking toad!
