It seems to me that it doesnt matter how fast your going towing or not theres always some A-holes that tailgate. your always holding them up and wherever they are going they have to GET THERE RIGHT NOW !!! And the idiots that pull right out in front of people will learn the hard way someday >

I just replaced my brake pads on my Trailstar trailer, took it and the boat on a test drive to the lake about 4o minutes away. when i got to the lake i noticed that the bearing grease had oozed on both wheels. I guessed that the new brakes got hot enough to make the grease run. why? theres no adjustments so will this correct itself in some way?

i like the idea of any collapsing net that i can get out of my way. if that net is big enough for you go for it. the price is right for sure. thats not big enough for Musky tho. i'd only have a net out for those guys. other than that i'd lip, swing, or grab at the boat.

thats the reason o didnt get the Hiber-net. i wanted a net that i could put in my rod locker and then pull it out and use it for Musky. but looked like it wasnt big/strong enough. so for now looks like im getting a stowmaster soon. i havent found any other choices soo far.

seems like a good price to me.. depends on the condition and you can also check the blue book price on it. i have a 2004 that paid 12,000 for.. probably a lil high but it was in very good condition.. im very happy with it.

can i piggyback this topic? I currently tow my Nitro 882 with my 1987 Astro with a 305 V8. terrible on gas, about 11 mpg and seems not alot of power. From what im reading here im guessing i'd get much better mpg and easier (power) towing with a older 350 2wd Tahoe? I've been thing of getting about a 90's model.
