thats awesome. to bad this wasent around when i was in high school. my dad works with orangeburg district 4. they are in the making of doing that in sc as well. the state has 13 schools so far. dont remember how many schools you half to have to make it offical.

Yea its nice living on a pond. I walk about 100 yards and im there. The pond is close to 10 acres. If you are ever around SC one day I would gladly take you fishing on it! Its also nice to see comments from people who love fishing just as much as I do. I went out in my pond boat 30 mins before dark today. Caught 3 bass in a matter of 10 mins. Biggest was 1 1/2 pounds. I really like this jig fishing. Hope to catch many more this way. About to spend some money and buy some nice jigs... Any brand of jig out there that stands out more than others?

since im new to jigs. when you fish a jig, do you long cast it and jig it back across the bottom or just flip them in and around cover?

You could always stop by Santee Cooper Reservoir. Wouldnt be a bad stop on your way somewhere. Has over 177k acres of water to fish and was ranked in the top 25 bass lakes in the country. Cant remember the exact rank. Dont have my bass masters mag with me at this moment.
