New Pb Largemouth

Caught this girl today at Harrison County Lake in Northern Missouri. She hit in a foot of water on a Zoom Super Speed craw in blue berry color. I assume she was on a bed as her tail was a bloody mess. This is by far my biggest bass to date. We couldn't get the scale to work when I caught her but it was a lot bigger than my father in law's 4.5 that we weighed earlier in the day. Anyone have a guess at what she may weigh? We were thinking at least 6 if not bigger.

We caught 3 today that had bloody tails with this one being the worse. We caught a bunch last weekend at the same lake all with bloody tails. Water temp today was 74 degrees. All were caught in 2 ft. or less next to timber.

Fannin those beds will bloody a tail up quick. Thats great lookin fish, I would guess its atleast 5.5, but you never know, could have been over 6. Pictures are bad at capturing true size

Great fish! Congratulations!!!

She looks a little thin behind the shoulders, so I'd say 5.5 instead of 6... earlier/later in the season, she probably would have been well above 6!

Hard for me to tell, but good job.
