  1. hey guys ive recently aquired a mercury force 9.9 for a pretty good price but after reading some information on it, my understanding is parts are hard to come by, but overall they are a pretty stout and realible engines does anyone have experience with them.

  4. cool im slowly building my arsenol and have a decent size bonus coming from work next week i planned on getting the reel and rod, but this dang bait monkey disease has hit me hard and now i want both lol
  5. Okay I've settled on what reel I want for my 843c but should I get the 50 or 100 size I know one hold less smaller line so Im thinking I want the 100 but is there a big diffrence in size in bothe these reels?
  6. thanks guys i think im going to go with the loomis for now and if in two weeks time if they still have the st croix on sale ill pick it up also. i can add their reels later this year or next fishing season

  8. i have the chance to get either for about the same price with a about 20 dollar diffrence
  9. hey guys i plan on getting a st croix mh legend extreme,ill mostly throw worms and im going to try to learn the ways of the jig i was wondering if i should just save my money for the steez or could a calcutta be paired up nicely with it

Well let me tell you i could not ask for more I took it out for the first time today and I swear I must have been doing 15mph the mOtor performed like a top the only problem I had was that when I was by myself I could not get the boat to plane I only could when my buddy was in the front when I tryed by myself the front would not come down I think there was to much weight in the front how can I remedy this when I'm by myself

  18. Lol thanks, very slow, I was looking for something more specific like how many mph could it go would it plane etc, etc, but yeah it's what I have, it is my first boat the boat is like 40 years old and I just got the motor on eBay almost brand new for a good price
  19. Hey guys I was wondering haw fast I could go with this size engine the Jon is 14 ft long and 30 something inches wide, a trolling motor battery maybe a cooler and a few fishing rods will be the only cargo oh yeah and me I weigh about 120

  22. Ditto On the soft plastics I've been doing very good on t rigged worms and occasionally lizard early in the morning and at about 7 in the afternoon
