I recently got one of the beat deals ive ever gotten on tackle i managed to pick up two st croix avid x both 7ft medium and mh for 120 bucks a piece brand new the store had them on the closeout rack because they no longer carry st croix products i was literally on the way to basspro to pick up the mh

I have a river i fish were i use 12 pound test but this is a new creek i want to try with heavily pressured fish and clear water ive been told 6 pound test is a better bet the creek is crooked creek in arkansas

Hi i have a question for you guys would it be possible or practical to add a flourocarbon leader to a reel already spooled with flouro the reason i am asking is because i have a reel spooled with 8 pound flouro but would like to fish some creeks were 6 pounds works a whole lot better could i maybe add 2-3 ft of 6 pound test

Totally worth it and i agree with you guys i hate fisherman who are snobby you know the ones who only fish 3 times a year quite frankly i tie on what ever is workinv be it a midge, egg or wooly bugger

When I caught my personal best it was about 10 yards out from me but I have hooked way bigger bass far out and the fight is always more savage you cant really control them like you want

Caught some decent fish out in my kayak today, fishing a private lake that is about 35-40 acres all caught on zoom red shad mag 2 worm caught a few smaller ones too. these were the most memorable ones. I am definitely getting used to fishing out of a kayak and was actually pretty comfortable. how big do you guys think the last one is? I am thinking 4-5 pounds, lol.

hey guys I was just wondering if any of you guys have knowledge of old fly reels I just picked up a old hardy the perfect fly reel in good condition for 10 bucks with a extra spool the reels says the perfect 3 1/8 and is cosmetically in good condition is this a good little reel and is it worth anything thanks

hey guys im going to try my hand fishing jerkbaits this year and was wondering what colors worked the best i currently have 3 megabass vision 110 ozark shad, ito tennessee shad, and eldgy bone i also have some pointers 78 in american shad aroura black, and shartruese shad are these good colors for slightly stained water i was wondering if coloar like matt tiger and viper tiger could be good also

I spoke to area mechanic all said they service it, and that parts are readily available so I think I will be alright I mainly bought it so I can fish some stronger rivers
