  1. dont sweat it man youll break it, there are some bigguns in oklahoma, did you hear about the new state record that was caught man i would love catch a fish that big,
  2. well i started fishing for bass about 4 years ago and every year i would tell my self i am going to catch a pig, now do note that i am a bank fisherman so its no easy task hooking into big ones my personal best up until now was 3 and half pounds, recently though i started wading and also got access to a old private lake that is known to hold hawgs, well even their it was no easy task but atleast i knew i had a better chance, so after fishing their about 10 times this last month i caught a bunch of 2 pounders and 1 poundesr and that 3 and half pounder, well i decided to make a trip there yesterday at abot 10 in the morning, and after catching several small ones i hooked into this pig my scale read about 6 pounds, its a cheap 5 dollar berkley scale but the fish was really long, but skinny i took a couple of pictures and released her to get bigger, now i am ready for that 10 pounder, lol
  3. cool guys roadwarrior i think your right about them being small, but i did catch a 3 pounder one time, most are dinks, but one thing i can say is that i did see and try to catch a huge, huge lunker largemouth bass over 10 pounds who lives in a small calm area all the locals have tried to catch her but no one has
  4. man, i guess nobody fishes for smallmouth in this area
  5. ive caught a few there and was wondering if you guys know any public spots to fish from the bank from, ive caught some in many island and behind the ballpark in the hardy itself
  6. great job, and atleast you enjoyed yourself out there
  7. i currently have a daiwa fuego and medium fast fenwick techna av as my current set up, but recently ordered a gloomis mbr 842glx to pair up with my daiwa px type r i just got i plan on mostly throwing soft plastics with it but was wondering if i could maybe throw crankbaits every once and a while. if i would have known that the daiwa px type r only could handle up to 8 pound test i would have purchased the steez instead but when i got the reel i loved the look and feel of it so much i decided not to send it back do you guys think this set up would be good for t-rigs, and maybe medium diving crankbaits. my next set up will defiently be a mbr843 and steez though thanks, daniel
