  1. Was going to make my own. It was just as cheap to buy one so i did. Its a Hobie twist and stow large sailing rudder. I also used a Harken double bullet block and two Harken micro cam cleats.
  2. Ya! I found my self alone once with a 1/2 oz. rattle trap stuck in my wrist and had nothing! That will not happen again!!
  3. I like to carry a small first aid kit an a few tools with me on the boat. In my research i found these things called gear pods. Their perfect! Small, waterproof expandable if need be. Can get them already with stuff in them or empty. I got the empty one so i could put what i wanted in them. Also can get a mount. With a little engeneering the worked out great!
  4. For the people that dont wanna drill holes in there boat to mount stuff, found something for ya. Its called VHB tape made by 3M. Got my hands on some and it is STICKY!! Seen it on Modern Marvels. Not badly priced. But beware!! Once its stuck..its stuck!!!
  5. Almost finished with my rudder. Gotta say im pretty impresed with the results. Pics comimg soon!
  6. Hopefully my parts will be here this week!
  7. Think i'll try putting together a rudder. been reserching it for a bit, think i have it figured out!
  8. Im using two Optima blue tops. Group 29 i think. Have got around 15 hours, half the battery. Never touched the second one. GPS said i traveled 9 miles one way. Never felt any loss of power. Using a 45LB thrust Minn Kota Traxxis, variable speed. This was over a weekend camping trip.
  9. Seen a few post about using anchors. Any one consider a stake out/push pole? Would save space and weight. Checked some out and finally found one that's affordable and a good length. TnAstick.com Might have to have one for myself. Find my self pushing through skinny water with my paddles. Just a thought..
  10. http://s1351.photobucket.com/user/tfultz196/media/049_zps60c853e0.jpg.html Two Optima blue tops and my on board charger.
  11. I've been trying to come up with a way to store rods since I bought it new in 2009. Like you I haven't found a good way. I'm really picky when it comes to mounting stuff to my boat. Has got to be functional, not in the way and pleasing to the eye. If you come up with an idea let me know!!
  12. With a Little help from a friend I was finally able to get a picture of my boat on here. Thanks again oldfoggy!! Its not the best picture..
  13. I have tried to resize my pic of my boat, was successful in doing so. Even at the smallest size there still to big! Any suggestions?
  14. Bass pro has one that fits nice with the seats and trolling motor still on the boat. Its made by Classic Accessories $30-$40. Its not road worthy but is a nice cover. Buster boats has one that is trailerable, Part # B10000-Tan its $80 I think.
