How so Spiro? Upgraded parts or just a fancier name?

This past Tuesday I pulled this gal out at a smallish pond I fish.

I can't wait for it to come back on. Also waiting for Breaking Bad and Walking Dead to come back on.

I have the standard 17round magazines, just one of them (not pictured) has the extended baseplate. For a total of 20 rounds in the mag, 1 in the hole. No restrictions on capacity here!

Corn works, I usually use home made baits. Scorpion tackle makes boillies, and tackle just for carpping. They like a lot of different stuff. I flavor a base of flower and cornmeal with things like vanilla, anise, crushed red peppers, blue berry pie mix, all kinds of stuff. You could add cereal to help with tje consistancy of it. Just add ingredients until its doughy enough to stay molded on the hook. Boillies work best on a hair rig with a bit of your dough bait mushed on. I carp fish with my buddy pretty extensively so if you got any questions or wanna swap bait recipies PM me!

Well..... LOL No all jokes aside, this is the best lighting I could get at the time. Question on the Abu Garcia brand: What's the difference between an ambassedour model and a regular one?

That would work for practice in the backyard but I'm not going to be standing ona bucket out fishing lol

I tried this in my backyard and it didn't work out so well. I came back inside and watched some more vids on it and realized I'm standing on the "water" and this is the reason it wasn't working for me. How do you clear the ground/water with the tip of your rod if fishing level with the water? I noticed on the vids I watched all the guys were elevated off of the water by their boat. How would you do it from the bank?

I am just starting out so my collection is small still, I was just throwing them in my tackle bag, but as I picked up a few more packs they started to not fit so well. I decided to use my old tackle box and use it as a dedicated bass box. I have soft plastics on one side and my hard stuff on the other side.

Shore fishing last fall and I pulled in a Berkley Lightning Rod and an Abu Silver Maxx... I know nothing about baitcasting reels and was wondering if this was able to be saved? Most of the internals look to be rust free, the only rust i see are on the drag magnets?

I just signed up for both, quick question. When I did the longer quiz it directed me to sign up, and I did but I didn't actually get a confirmation that they were sending me any gear... anybody have anything similar happen to them?

I caught my second largest Bass using this bait! My first catch on a hard bait so needless to say this is the favorite hard bait that I own.

Nice! What do you do with the snakeheads? They ask us to kill them if we catch any here in Delaware. I've never seen any at the waters I fish.

Wednesday, June 20, 2012 Stopped by the local pond today after dinner so I could cast my line a few times and my wife could feed the ducks. Glad I did too! Caught the second biggest bass I've ever caught and my first on a hard bait! It was 90 degrees and about 2000hrs. I just casted out my new Rebel Frog R in leopard paint scheme thrown from my M action Ugly, and as soon as it landed it was gobbled up by this fish. The fight lasted no more than a minute or two as he ran straight for the shore. I estimate it to be a little over 3lbs. The sandal is 11.5 inches... I need to invest in a scale and tape measure! Not sure why the clarity seems so jaggy, must be because of the cell phone.

Another goose egg today. Worked some new baits and techniques though. I attribute the bad fishing to a late start of 1330, and only stayed for about 1.5 hours. I was still outside and it was a beautiful day. Saw lots of people on the water and made me wish I had a boat.
