I was using a perch lure just throwing it out and retrieving. On the cast before i landed a pickerel and i swear i saw that bass chasing and sizing it up so i went right back and sure enough booom. I need to replace the treble hooks on the lure. Worth it!

  7. Well its been sitting in the shed brand new for a few months and i think i finally figured it out. I haven't got to test it out on the water yet though. I tied on a spinner bait and was adjusting the knobs and and when i press the button it drops down smooth. when i try something lighter like say a tube worm do i just play with the drag until that drops down as well and so on?

  11. I been nailing them recently in the river by me (117 Mile Long) i just tie up a 3-4 oz weight and use a smaller size hook. My preffered bait i like to use is Nightcrawlers! they absolutely love those things. and watch your rod! I lost a surf rod about a week ago i forgot to set my drag and it shot out of the rocks like a bullet! Was like a scene from jaws seeing my rod take off underwater. I jumped in after it but it was to fast lol. But other than that have fun! Their alot of fun railing in!
  12. Had a nice night for like 2 and a half hours until the bugs started to attack relentlessly. Found a small honey hole litteraly kept casting off the dock into the same spot. Got 4 pickerel and 3 bass. This being the biggest.
