  1. rage craw (okeechobee craw, falcon lake craw) and culprit worms(green shad, red shad)
  2. The two rods that I have now are a 7' MH Veritas and a 7'3 MH Duckett that I use for jigs and frogs. I use my veritas as an all around rod and put on soft plastics, spinnerbaits, jerkbaits, etc. But since crankbait and texas rig fishing are what i use most, I wanted another rod that I dedicate to just those two. So i was thinking like a 7' M with a fast tip duckett would work good?
  3. What type of rod would be best for both texas rig and crankbait fishing?

My favorite worms are Culprit, SK Rage ReCon worm, and GrandeBass mega tail rattlesnake. You can get the Culprits in 7.5, 10, and 15 in, but ReCon worm and the rattlesnake only come in 8 in. I really like Green Shad color for the Culprits, falcon lake craw color for the ReCon worm, and watermelon blue fk for the rattlesnakes. Hope this helps! --Jett

  9. I just got the Quantum Smoke and like it a lot so far just having trouble understanding the ACS Cast Control on it. If someone could just explain that to me it would help a lot and be greatly appreciated.
  10. Alright ive narrowed it down to the Curado G and the Citica 200e. The citica 200e scored much better than the curado g on tackle tour's tests, but the curado is still a curado...
  11. I went to bass pro today to pick up a few lures and while i was there i picked up some 50# Power Pro braid for my Chronarch. I only got 100 yards cause it was only twelve bucks, but on the way home i was questioning myself on whether 100 yards was enough to fill the spool up. What do yall think? will 100 yards of 50 pound braid enough to fill up the spool?
  12. What are yall's experiences with these reel? They are all close to the same price and have heard good and bad things on these reels. I already have a Med/Heavy Veritas that I traded in a deer target for so now all i need is a reel... I will appreciate any info or any expreiences yall've had with any of these reels! Thanks! --Jett
  13. I like the 1.5 sexy shad and bluegill
  14. Also just make sure your drag knob isnt too loose. If you keep your drag knob tight, you wont cast as far but you will never get backlashes. As you get more confident you can slowly start loosening your drag knob. Hope that helped! --Jett
  15. When you get a backlash: 1. Hold your rod and reel sideways 2. Tighten your drag pretty tight 3. Press the line release button 4. With the button pushed down, start pulling your line out until the backlash is gone 4. With your drag knob still tight, reel your line in. This technique is a REALLY fast and easy way to get rid of your backlash and has helped me a lot! Keep fishin -Jett

  21. You could check out some of the SPRO swimbaits. Those are great and swim really nice in the water
  22. Another reel that seems pretty nice for the money is the Citica. Any experiences on that?
