Hey pgersumky Don't you think 12 lb test is way to light for ( jigs, flipping, pitching, and punching) For Texas ? I lived in Texas & Cali , I'm going 20lb FC and / or Heavy braid / Heavy braid + Leader. I have heavy reels , that few oz's to me Isn't a factor. My 2 Cents ..... Mike

Are you looking at $250 for everything ? I'll just list my thoughts below. I'd put a shimano curado 300E , on the jig / pitching rod , On a top water / shallow or lipless / frog, I'd go with a MH rod , Don't spend your money on just a frog rod etc. Get a all around MH rod , you can throw almost anything with it. look at the Lews Reels , great price for the money. On the rods , check out if BPS and/or Cabelas , they always have sales. Spinning rig , I like falcon bucco's , 6'6 or 7'0 great rod for the money. Mike

The Blue You Need For The Body Is (FasChange Blue Highlight Lexan Paint PAR40181) , Do What Big C , Said Above , Base Coat Pearl , Then Reduce The FasChange Blue and Spray Over The Pearl. You Will See The Blue Shift As You Move The Bait , Once You Clear Coat It Will Make The Blue Stand Out Even Better. If You Want A Transparent Look , You Will Have To Use A Knock Off Blank , Reduce The FasChange Blue and Spray Over The Clear Plastic , The Effect Is Really Nice As Well. I Can't Say What Blue To Use On The Top , I'd Have To See A Pic. My 2 Cents , Hope It Helps. Mike

Hey Big C All the baits shown are the ones I Painted , I was just showing how the 110 I painted looked in direct sun light and then with limited sun light and then showing the (4) 95's I did as well. I was just saying there were (2) used 110 Kasumi Tigers on ebay for $120 and $130. Mike
