The Bass Boats Did It
This Is A First : Went Fishing At A local Lake , Which You Cannot Run Your Outboard. It's About 140 Acres. When I Pulled Up To The Dock , There Were Several People Fishing From The Shore. As I Was Getting The Boat Ready , One Of The Group Said In A Loud Voice , There's One Of Those Bass Boats , I Said And ? They Said In A Nasty Tone , Your The Ones That Run Those Big Trolling Motors With The Big Props That Chop Up The Lake Grass and That's Why We Keep Getting Grass On Are Hooks , I Just Started "LAUGHING". I Went and Fished For Awhile , When I Returned The Idiots Were Still Fishing , They Asked If I Had Caught Anything , Yep , Just Grass Today and Went On My way. Mike

Craw Patterns
Esoxfreak , After I know Where I'm Going To Lay The Foil (Leaf) I Use Createx Top Coat , Others Use Glue. I Take A Small Brush and Paint The Area The Foil Is Going , With A Very Thin Coat , Dry With Hair Dryer , I Just Want That Tacky Feel. Once I lay The Foil On The Pattern , I Use The Top Coat Again and Brush Very Lightly Over The Foil , The Top Coat Will Seal The Foil For You. When I'm Done I Use Epoxy , For My Final Clear Coat. Hope This Helps , Mike Munkin Those Trash Fish Are A Pain , Mike

White Craw
For Buzzed Bait & Anyone Else Wanting To Try The Crackled Look. 1. The Stuff I Use Is Purchased Through (Michael's Craft Store) Its Called (Weathered Wood - Crackle Medium) By Americana. 2. Not All Airbrush Colors Work , Opaque Colors Work Best , I Think They Have More Pigment In Them Which Helps Them React Better To The Crackle. 3. On A Basic White Craw Pattern , Spray Base Coat Opaque Black , Hit With Hair Dryer To Dry. I Use Small Vinyl Brushes From Walmart .99 For Pk Of 30. Paint On Your Crackle Entire Bait , Make Sure You Cover The Bait Evenly , Don't Go To Thin / Heavy With The Crackle. "Do Not Dry The Crackle" , Once Your Done Painting It On , Spray Entire Bait With Opaque White , Make Sure You Have Good Coverage , You Will Start To See The Reaction , Take Your Hair Dryer , Setting Low and Dry The Bait , Don't Hold The Hair Dryer Too Close.
