Major Difference In Cheap Reels And Expensive Ones (Other Than Gear Ratio)
Wrb had a good post on another thread about using the rod to fight the fish and the reel to take up slack. I use spinning reels almost exclusively and as most know you shouldn't not reel against the drag or you get line twist. I pull the rod up/back and take up the slack then play the fish out. My point is if the line, rod, and reel are all working in conjunction with each other. Shouldn't any flex be mitigated?

Sensitivity Of Rodgeeks Carbon 4 Vs. St. Croix Sciv
I felt a couple and thought they felt good. They offer some interesting actions as well. Just to quantify, I have a couple 3 builds and a couple 5 blanks I'm waiting to be built. Bottom line they felt good. Even the carbon 2's felt good.

Reel To Balance My E6X Rod
I don't think I have ever handled or built a rod that was balanced before I put a reel on it. I would imagine the grip would have to weight quite a bit to accomplish this.

Ned Rig Setups....what Do You Use?
Custom rainshadow rx7 781 with pfluger supreme or custom sc3 7'0 mlf stradic fj. Both have 10lb power pro and 10 suffix mono leader.

What Technique To Learn Next?
You have 3 setups that can cover a variety of techniques. Think lures for each rod that can cover the water colum and switch it up between the rods.

Expensive Reels
I like them but this ones out of my league. If anyone is interested I cropped the persons name out but can get it for you.

Need Rod Advice...again
You listed a lot of rods, I wish I could get my hands on all those. I think you are on the right track. I am sure anyone would do some of those techniques very well and the others ok. Unless you want 100 rods on deck; you have to compromise. The loomis rods are spin jig taper which is probably not going to be different from "bass" rods but the diameter of the blank will be smaller. Xf st croix blanks have a kind of hinged action they have a limber tip that transitions to backbone very quick in the blank (think top 15%) of the rod flexes. Fast spinning rod blanks (non spin jig) depending on power and length can flex throught the blank.

Avid X Recommendation
I like two different rods for those applications. A stouter rod for the tubes and a lighter rod for the Ned. I would recommend 7'0 medium light fast because I love that rod but you might want to take a look at a 6'8mxf too. I have a 6'9 mlxf and it would be my absolute last choice for 1/4 tubes.

Update - Question/opinions: Getting Ready To Warranty Avid M For Ml Spinning
I had a 6'8 medium compre don't know about bps rods but the ml st croix is nothing like a medium compre. It is to me a special blank, so much so I have 3 of them. If you do anything type of smallmouth fishing this is considered by many rod builders one of the standards.

Brand New To Bresource/1St Post/buying New Gear This Weekend ( Baitcasting & Spinning) High End (Opinions)
Hey welcome to bass resource. Glad to see another albany native on here. You certainly have quite a list there. As to you last question I am not aware of any place closer than those you listed that has a great tackle selection.

Update - Question/opinions: Getting Ready To Warranty Avid M For Ml Spinning
Yes I think so, I throw everything on the mlf. Mlxf I use for mainly dropshot, grubs, poppers, and the occasional jerkbait. It's splitting hairs but I like the fast models better.

Update - Question/opinions: Getting Ready To Warranty Avid M For Ml Spinning
Darren, I think if you like lighter power rods, you will really like the 6'ml. I have ml and mlxf st croix's and for me the ml is more versatile.

Best Shakyhead/all Purpose Spinning Rod?
They have a lot of rods on that chart, it's easy to miss one lol. I just noticed they have a 6'8 mf and 6'8mxf and 6'10mxf. Mind boggled.

Best Shakyhead/all Purpose Spinning Rod?
I just looked at the st croix website and had to do a double take. It's interesting they have the same rods two inches apart but labeled for different purposes. I have to wonder if it's a different blank or something. I will say if the walleye series ever goes in the bargin room, I'm in trouble.

Waste Of Two Years, Time For A New Job
I wouldn't look at as a waste, I'm sure you learned a few things and may have meet some good people. It's a shame, I've meet people in all sorts of occupations that might have been the best person for the job but because they didn't have that diploma they were stuck. Sucks but that's the way it is sometimes. Lots of good advice has been given above. I'll add the company man in my opinion is dead and gone. Don't expect any loyalty from the employer side, always do what's best for you.

What Would You Recommend Me For A All Around Spinning Set Up
I'm partial to st croix and medium lights spinning rods for the applications you listed. A medium would probably suit you better than a mh though.
