Few Questions About Grass Jig And Swim Jigs
Those videos helped me a lot when I first started with swim jigs. Since I live up north, I refined his technique a little more by using a smaller swimbait than the Roboworm Easy Shad. I know I can still catch fish with that set up, but I have more confidence with a smaller bait. I like the Keitech Swing Impact in the 3.5 or 4 inch on the back, but I also do very well with craws on the back too. I like to use craws when the waters colder or when the bass aren't super active since it has a more subtle action. I'll use either a Chigger Craw or a Rage Craw. When the water is warmer and the fish are more active, I will then go with a swim bait or grub. It obviously also depends on what the fish are feeding on. The body of water you fish sounds perfect for swim jigs. My favorite way to fish them is to swim them just above the grass, but I will always try and keep it ticking the top of the weeds. I get most of my strikes when I pop it out from the grass. If the fish are active or willing to hit reaction baits, then I will throw a swim jig. If the fish are in a more negative mood or they are hanging tight to cover, I will fish a flipping jig. However, the best way to tell is to have both tied on, use them both, and let the fish tell you which one they want more. Hope this helps.

Tourney/club Equipment
You can pretty much cover everything with six rods, if they're the right length, power, and action. You sound like you have enough to cover a lot, but I would personally get a few more as you go along if you want to cover everything. I would recommend a 6"6" medium rod for topwaters and jerkbaits, a 7'6" mh fast action for pitching and flipping in or around heavy cover, and a 6'6"-6'9" medium power spinning rod which would cover most of the finesse techniques. I recommend these since you already have rods for crank baits, worms/jigs, and a miscellaneous set up. If your looking for a spinnerbait set up I would recommend a 7' mh power rod with a fast action.

Best Reel In This Category
Get a Lew's Tournament Pro. I have 2 Curado E series reels, which are great reels, but I prefer the Tournament Pro's. The Tournament Pro is very smooth, it is very light, it has a dual braking system, and it is very easy to palm. You really couldn't go wrong with any of your options, but this is the reel I would go with. Don't forget that you can get 20% off your orders to Tackle Warehouse through Tuesday.

I am looking for a new flipping rod. Now that St. Croix is having a Christmas promotion, I was going to get a Legend Tournament 7'6" MH Mod. Fast Pitchin' rod along with another rod I decided on. I was wondering if anyone has this rod and what they think of it. I would also like to know if the rod would balance well with a curado 200e7. Thanks a lot.- Legend Tournament Spinning

war eagle- Square Bill Rod
I have narrowed down my selection for a new square bill rod to two rods. I would like some help deciding between the Powell Endurance 695 CB and the Dobyns Champion 685 CB.I would also occasionally use the rod for chatterbaits and spinnerbaits. I'm opting for a shorter rod because I wont be making super long casts since I'll be fishing closer to cover. Any help would be great. Thanks- How To Fish Lipless Cranks
I love lipless cranks especially in the prespawn and in the fall. My favorites are the red eye shad and the rapala rippin rap which is pretty under rated.- Help! In Need Of A New Baitcaster
Get a lew's tournament speed spool which is $149.99 or a lew's tournament pro which is $199.99. I have two curado e's and I like my lew's reels more. IMO they are smoother, they cast further, plus they have a dual braking system which really lets you dial your reel in.- Help Picking Out The Best Lews Reel.
