Gitzit tubes work great for stream smallies. Natural colors if the water is clear. Vary the retrieves to see what the fish want.

I use a Cabelas LSI 8wt, Scientific Anglers bass line, Cabelas Prestige reel. For a leader I use 30" of 50# mono, 30" of 30# mono, 24" of 15# mono as a tippet.

My dad died of melanoma that spread to his liver. My mom had a hunk out of her arm removed from melanoma. I wear a boonie hat, sunglasses, buff, long sleeve Guide wear shirt, Columbia pants, sunblock on hands and nose. I can't keep my sunglasses from fogging up if I wear the buff over my nose, any tips to prevent this?

I own a 2003 Frontier 4 door, 4x4. I don't tow anything with it. I bought it used a few years ago from the local Nissan dealer. It had about 50,000 miles on it when I bought it. When I bought the truck it had a rattling noise in the front of the engine when you would start the truck, with a cold engine. The dealer said they didn't know the cause of the noise. It ended up being the timing belt losing its teeth. Just something to watch for, only problem I've had with the truck.

I've got an Emotion Mojo Angler kayak that I use for small lakes and slow moving rivers. I'm 6' tall and I have the foot pegs set about half as far forward as they will go. It comes with 2 flush mounted rod holders and a Scotty rod holder. With the rod holders on my crate I usually carry 4 rods. The thing I don't like about it is the scupper holes in the seat, they can be plugged though. I bought mine at directboats.com, took about 2 weeks to get. I bought the Emotion Slingshot Paddle with it. The kayak paddles very easily. When casting a large swimbait I don't even need to paddle around the lake, casting and reeling the swimbait is enough to move the kayak around.

I've been reading about fly fishing for them, looking forward to trying it next summer. I know a spot thats loaded with them.

I've had a Mojo Angler since May and love it. I've put some STS on it, its an excellent upgrade to do. I also got a Skwoosh seat cushion for it. My wife got me a PMAX 170 for christmas this year. I'm thinking about getting a RAM mount and putting the fishfinder in front of the removable console. I've also thought of adding anchor trolleys over the winter.
