Anyone have one of these? I just purchased a Mojo and I love it, but do not see a lot of other people talking about them.

What I am really looking for is where people tend to put that anchor trolley. There is plenty of room to add one, but I am unsure of the level of where to install it, I know where the water line is at but it just seems like an odd area overall.

Any insight is appreciated!!

Mini Review:

Stability is awesome, literally really need to try and dump it over, you will slide out before you flip this beast. Tracking is great, turning is a little slow, but given the size (12.5' by 32" @ 62lbs) it will be slower. Side saddle is super easy, there is one nice hatch in the bow, and plenty of room to add one at the stern or in the cabin area. The Angler model is set up very well already, much better then some other models, there is not anything anywhere that I think is a poor choice. Has a removable console w/ scotty holder, which is a perfect spot to add a FF w/ the scotty flush mount that is already there.

I got a great deal on this online so w/ paddle, nice PDF and shipping I got the Mojo for 750 ish, well worth it, only thing major I would like to have which I will add is going to be a hatch in the cabin area for easy phone/key/food stowing. Other than that I can not complain at all for the price.

While I don't have an Emotion, I'd recommend the anchor trolley just above the water line. And if you can afford, one for each side.

That's the one thing I wish I did, and plan to correct on my Native Ultimate. So many situations I've found myself in that I wished I had a trolley on the left side....

But sounds like a good deal on your yak, something to give you many happy years of yak-fishing. Good on ya, mate!

i would error on higher mounting vs lower bc other variables can be complicated enough. i was out all weekend battling fall conditions. its no fun having to reach into cold water to find ur trolly line b/c an 8lb anchor pulled it under (i usually use a 2lb grappling hook anchor but had to use a 8lb b/c of the 10mph winds).

I have a trolley on the right side for now, I am just using basic hardware store gear till I find what I like works, and then going to upgrade the hardware.

I will add one on the left side once I see how the right side one works.

I attached it so it goes right under the handle, which is well about the water line.

I will do a full review one of these days with pictures. I feel this kayak is very underratted because so many people are piloting jackson's, oceans, wildress, this is a great yak, and leaves you a lot of room to retrofit things like hatches etc.

Don't have a Mojo, but I got a Pescador 12 and a Commander 120. Trolleys are a great tool. I'm going to be putting one on my C120 this winter probably. Took one off the Pescador cause normally I'd just put myself up on some slop and that would keep me put in wind. But fishing for Smallmouths more, I'm out in the open, exposed a bit.

Another thing I'd recommend is some Silent Traction System from Harmony. Doesn't keep every bump completely silent, but does a good job in muffling it a good bit. I have some on the floor of my C120, and the gunnels for resting my paddle on. LOVE IT!!!!

Thanks for the tip on the traction material, I am looking into it, but money is super tight for me and this is getting pieced together as the funds come in.

Next for me is a basic fish finder then the rest will come.

I've had a Mojo Angler since May and love it. I've put some STS on it, its an excellent upgrade to do. I also got a Skwoosh seat cushion for it. My wife got me a PMAX 170 for christmas this year. I'm thinking about getting a RAM mount and putting the fishfinder in front of the removable console. I've also thought of adding anchor trolleys over the winter.
