  1. I’ve got a few like that, tucked away in memory of my father, all were frogs and were old Bill Plummer frogs when he was selling them to the public. He showed me the fun of frog fishing.
  2. 80% spinning, 20% BC. I use BC for frogging.
  3. I would go with the M1. It's my favorite. You should also look at what Dobyns has to offer. Great rods!
  4. Duckets Ghost! Can't go wrong there.
  5. Yo zuri hybrid line. Been using it for several years and trust it.
  6. I have one, I like it better than my St. Croix's as I believe it to be more sensitive. I do plan on getting the Smallmouth Guru series for fishing from my Kayak. I'm impressed with them...
  7. Tubes, jerk baits, jigs with trailers, senko's and wiggle warts......
  8. I have favorite rods for different types of fishing. I like Fenwick for jigs and smaller plastics, Abu Garcia for heavier applications like heavy swim baits, heavier jigs and some frogging, a custom made rod for tubes ( J. Miles, uses a Shakura (sp) blank), and TFO G Loomis spinning for crank baits. Don't use St. Croix for freshwater anymore( I own 2 Fw and 3 SW) as I think you can get better or as good rods cheaper ( Sorry Guys) !
  9. I Texas rig them with a small split shot 3" up the leader and a lite sliding weight 18-20" farther up.
  10. My favorite is the confidence bait finesse craw followed by the Yum F2 craw papi
  11. Dragging an Erie darter along the bottom or using a finesse craw from Confidence baits are my two favorites. These seem to produce for me. I am preparing for spring, though and use these two almost all year. When it warms up, a zoom minnow is my first choice, followed by a Rapala or lipless crank bait.
  12. Yo Zuri is one of my favorite lines. I have reels with 8 lb and some with 10 or 12 lb test. It's a great line and even have it as a leader to by braided line. I've tried others but this is my favorite by far!
