  1. I enjoy throwing a weightless zoom speed worm in the shallow grass with much success.
  2. If I were to guess- 50% 1/2 - 2 40% 2 - 4 ;D 9% 5 - 7 1% 8 - 10 8-) 0% 11+ :-[ : :-X........I can dream about it, can I? If the pollster meant the average weight of the combine fish caught, then it would be around 2-2 1/2#s. If the pollster meant which weight catagory do you catch more fish in than any other, then a 2# and under catagory should be added because that's where most of the bass fisherman would be.
  3. A weightless T-rig will certainly catch plenty of fish, but I perfer a wacky_rig. The best way which I have found is to work it is as a search bait. I do this by casting the bait into bassy-looking spots, let it fall to the bottom, wait 10 seconds, reel it in and cast to the next spot. 90% of the hits come on the fall or the touchdown anyway. I always use an attratant in garlic or crawfish. This rig will catch fish 12 months out of the year in nearly every condition.
  4. I fish out of Wilderness Systems Tarpon 100 and Pamlico 100. I have landed many 6,7,8#s. Pretty entertaining stuff wrestling a big un with finesse tackle. Remember to wear your PFD and enjoy the exercise. It's an added bonus. 8-)
