yuck! Worst fish to eat anyways. I'd rather get a fish sandwich from Mc Donalds than to get fined and getting my stuff taking away just for a bass.

I like saltwater and freshwater fishing equally..saltwater fishing for redfish in a marsh is kinda like bass fishing to me. I just like the sounds of seagulls and the smell of the ocean

it doesn't have to be bass fishing, but what hooked you guys into fishing? What got me into fishing is TV, I remember watching Roland Martin and Bill Dance when I was little. My dad never got me into fishing because he hates fishing.

Its a 6 minute bike ride to a lake which have like 4lb and over bass there, and a 10 minute ride to my secret ponds.

yes they are, at salisbury lake stay away from the beach. I know the life guards there..90% of the people that go to the lake dont have a membership like me..go on weekdays. If they ask for a lake pass just say no DONT TRY TO LIE

Last week, my pole almost got dragged in by a catfish because i set the pole on the bank unattended, but today I did it again. This time my pole got dragged in to the pond. I dived in trying to get my pole back, but i coudn't feel it on the bottom of the pond, then i realize I had my i phone in my pocket the whole time....so today I lost my phone and my $200 baitcasting rod and reel combo. I learned my lesson, NEVER LEAVE A POLE UNATTENDED WHEN CATFISHING!

Try the ponds at Waterford, or the midlo coal mine ponds Also, try the one in the Grove neighborhood, I've been catching fish using live bluegill in the evening. You can also go fishing at that reservoir, but I have no luck fishing there. Lake Patrick Henry and Salisbury lake is good, but fish away from the swimming beach at Lake Salisbury. My friend told me stories of his big bass from Walton Lake, but never went fishing there. There's also some ponds behind the sheraton hotel. Also, I go fishing at a small pond behind the Super Radiator Coils (it a business where my uncle used to work at). Tell me how you do at the pond behind Kroger's.

Since I live really close to the james river, I really want to try smallmouth bass fishing. My friend told me that he goes all the time to pony pasture and wade across the river to fish. I would like to know what locations are the best around Richmond, va and what lure i should use. The only time I go fishing at the james river is when the shad arrives around April. Thanks.

rattle crank baits and poppers. Use something fast becuase peacocks uses their speed to hunt.

Try fishing in the canals around Dade county for peacock. Use minnow imitation lures(flukes, jerkbaits, crankbaits, ect). Fish it fast! Also try pond hopping for largemouth bass. Look on youtube.
