Well I was wanting to get in on the spook, I guess I'm a little too late.

First time I saw one fished was last year at Beaver Lake. The shad is really light, but will work good on a spinning combo. I have three of the scatter cranks now and have caught fish on all of them. which one did you buy the crank or the scatter shad?

my partner is 15 should be a good time. cabin has cable T.V if he gets board after coming off the water.

Austin's in Olathe, Thursday night at 6. I just secured one cabin for that weekend, it sleeps 6 people. I'll know about the other by Thursday (sleeps 10-15). If nothing else there is plenty of room for a few tents. I would like to recommend everyone donate $20 or $30 bucks. They are allowing us to stay for free, but $10 to $15 bucks a night is nothing for lodging, plus we will be using their electricity fro charging battery's and all. The cabin has full kitchen and a big barbecue grill.

I'm bringing my wife. Night away from the kids.

Thursday is my first day off next week.

just watched the FLW video of Jason Christie doing work on the Elk arm. That will be a spot I'll be checking out this year, especially if it floods.

Let me know about May so I have a number of people when I go to ask for the cabins.

Beaver, Bull Shoals, T-Rock, Northfork, Grand, all with in 3-4 hours..... thats where i hope to spend my retriement years. Seriously thinking about retiring down there if retiring is such a thing by the time I'm ready to retire. I love the variety of the fish species and lakes. Plus it's a beautiful area around those lakes.

i know two other guys with boats that might be able to make it.
