Duckett Warranty
Just call them, they will probably have you pay the replacement fee, but you'll get a brand new rod. They were very easy to deal with when I broke my micro magic

Thinking About Pullibg The Trigger On A Smoke
The smoke reel is a solid performer. Light, smooth out of the box, and has a smooth drag. Don't know much about the rods, but the reel is a solid purchase and the first generation version can be had at very good pricing now.

Savannah, Georgia
I'll be around until September. My job limits my time significantly, but on a day off I'll travel a pretty good distance for good fishing!

Savannah, Georgia
I'll be in Savannah GA all summer and was wondering if anyone has any advice on where to go to bank fish for bass, as well as inshore species such as reds, trout, flounder, etc Any help is greatly appreciated!

Falcon Original Rod.
I've had my Falcon Original 7' medium for 6 years now. It will do well for small to medium sized crankbaits, and you will not be able to hurt it. Good parabolic bend, very soft tip. Will balance well with pretty much any reel because of the full cork handle.

Bassresource Family
I'd just like to say thank you to all the BassResource members and moderators. Over the past year my family and I have been through some rough times. Fishing has always been a way for me to clear my head, but I have not had many chances to get out on the water lately. This site and its people have been a small escape for me when things became overwhelming, and I am truly grateful for all of the dedicated hard work that I know goes into making this site what it is. From me to all of you, thank you, keep doing what you're doing, and God Bless!

Spinning Reel With Fc Problems...
The L&L works best when you apply it, then let it dry into the line overnight. That lets it bond with the FC. Then applying a small amount to the outside of the line right before fishing seems to help as well. I'd try invisx. It's softer and more supple than other FC's i've tried, and I've heard it works well on spinning outfits. That is, if you're still interested in using straight fluoro. Personally I will choose braid every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Jerk Bait Rod Advise
Just asked Dobyns what they recommend for this exact technique. Your preference will determine the length, but a 4 or 5 power crank bait rod out of their Champion line is what they recommended. The general consensus on jerkbait rods tends to be a 6-7 foot medium power, fast action rod. Hope this helps!

Stradic Ci4+ Or Ballistic Ex?
Want to know if anyone has been able to compare these two side by side. It's down to these two for me. The one I choose will be used mostly for bass, but will see some use for light inshore fishing from time to time. Will probably go with the 2500 size. Thanks in advance for any info you guys can provide!

Medium Action Casting Rod For Texas Rigs/hardheads
Medium fast should work well with the light wire hooks. Medium heavy with heavier line could bend the lighter hook, causing you to lose fish
-
Bps Carbon Lite Rods....
If you wanted to save a little more, I'd give the bionic blades a look. I have the white micro guide version in a spinning model (7' medium fast) and it is a solid performer with good sensitivity.

A Tough Dilemma
Most fishing teams now are two anglers per boat, and not everyone is required to own a boat. I have multiple friends who do not own boats but are still able to fish on college teams as co-anglers

Hooked Myself
Hooked myself last year in the chin with a treble hook from a small zara spook. Went past the barb, and I couldn't do anything but drive myself to the hospital. After they cut it out and issued a tetanus shot, I had to go to my 3 hour senior seminar class. Not my favorite day haha

Kistler Klx
Give them a call. A lot of times Trey Kistler will answer, and at the very least one of the employees will be able to give you all the info you'll need to make the right choice.
