  1. Also, I read on another post that said I should not have the battery on a concrete floor. Why is that?
  2. I just started charging my battery, but will not be home tomorrow to unplug it (the manual says it takes about 12 hours to charge). Is this bad? Should I have someone stop by and do it, or should I wait until later to charge it?

  5. I have a jon boat now, but after some practice this year, I aim to buy a real bass boat... Money being the key issue, would you guys suggest buying a low end traditional composite bass boat, or a high end aluminum hull boat? I've been looking around and it seems that folks like Skeeter, Triton, etc, offer a base model composite hull boat for about the same price as a loaded aluminum boat. I can't really go higher than 13 or 14K. Or should I just start looking at a used boat?
  6. That's what I want to do, but a transom mounted motor is not the same as a bow motor, the prop is backwards... Anyhow, I contacted Minn Kota, and they emailed me back saying that the endura is made to reposition the head so you can bow mount it. Thanks for the advice guys!
  7. Thanks for your input! I dunno what I'm gonna do. I hate returning gifts, it doesn't feel right.
  8. Hello, I'm new, so take it easy on me... My father in law bought me an Endura 46 Transom mounted motor for my jon boat. He didn't know that I wanted a bow mount. I do not want to return it because it was a Christmas present. Is it advisable to mount it on the transom and just run it in reverse? Or, I notice there is a bolt and locking nut attaching the head to the composite shaft. Can I unscrew it and reverse the head? I know this will probably void the warranty, but will it work? Thanks!
