  1. This stuff is pretty d**n good! I like it! Seems pretty abrasion resistant too. Memory wasn't bad at all with a few squirts of KVD the night before.
  2. What he said^ Good reel but sucks for flipping.
  3. I use it with a FC leader, no issues other than normal fading. Just got it cause it was on clearance and the bait monkey was in the aisle. Lol
  4. Just picked up a spool of this in 8#. Gonna try it out Saturday. Have had great success with Siege over past few years, have any of you used this? What should I expect?
  5. I have one. I have used it for deep 25ft + football jigs, 1/2 oz swim jigs and flipping with 1oz bullet in front of a brush hog. Rod simply performs. I also swung a 5lber in the boat with it and the rod handled it like a boss!
  6. Anyone try these out yet? They seem to be a step between Cumara and Crucial? Would also give me a reason to buy another reel lol
  7. I've been quite on the boards, busy shopping and working. Just wanted to take a minute to wish all my fellow anglers A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
  8. I have that reel too. You'll like it a lot! Congrats!
  9. Haha a lot of jigs and a whole bag full of random stuff. Fact Mike threw in a t shirt and a sticker, once again shows Siebert jigs are the only jigs that I'll ever tie on.
  10. Wife picked up invoice as I posted this I got slapped in the back of the head 3 times lmaooo
  11. My order came next season is set up nicely!
  12. Does anyone know if they stopped making this for good. A kid in my club got me using em flipping. Alternating with brush hogs. I messaged the company a few weeks ago but no response. It's the LFT 4" craw tube

Saw you ordered the scorpion in the other thread. Congrats! They shipped fast like 5 days or so. But they require signature so if your not home you may have to go to usps to pick it up with the tag they leave on your door.
  14. 3 baits that came highly recommended that I couldn't get a bite on: Whopper Plopper G2 shellcracker (wake bait not the soft plastic) Dahlberg Frog 3 new baits I absolutely destroyed em on this year: Rage Bug Structure bug Rick Clunn jerkbaits the Ito copies (also got some nice brown trout on em) Yamamoto square bill
  15. Update: just got home with the 3000 and Call of Duty hahaha zero issues with this reel. When I showed the guy at the counter what was wrong with the 2500 the sounds were actually louder and a grinding developed. Strange. Now to the 3000. This is a pretty d**n nice reel for the price point. I had a older Symetre years ago and it was just "a decent reel" this one however feels much sturdier and smoother. For what I paid this was a steal. Can't wait to get in the water and try this out.
  16. No more 2500s in stock going with a 3k
  17. +2 for cranking, jerks, pitching docks etc
  18. Yup definitely a lemon, just played with it for a few. When I disengage the anti reverse switch. Zero problems. Sucks but oh well I'll swap it out tomorrow.
  19. I have the 7'2" ML spinning Rod. Love it! Use it for drop shot and wacky rigged senkos. I've caught 100s of fish on it. It's really a great line of Ross. If you can find one grab it!
  20. When you flip the bail the rotor doesn't turn to the 10pm position so the arm is in the way for your index finger. Once it's open it doesn't spin
  21. Ok so update... Got a extra gift card and they let me stack a bunch of coupons. Meanwhile my friend ended up getting the reel he wanted himself, so I grabbed a Plano, bunch of lures and line for him. However lol I did grab myself a Symetre they didn't have a Saros in stock. But for $65 i figured what the hell. Lol Symetre is kinda rough reeling, noisy, and when you open the bail the rotor doesn't turn all the way to the left like all spinning reels, allowing space to finger the spool. Is this typical with the Symetre due to the price point??? I know I'm spoiled with CI4s but what the hell? Should I return it and try another. Btw this didn't come in a box it came in one of the plastic packaging things that's a pita to open. Thanks for input
  22. I throw some weighted swim baits that look just like those for stripers in salt. Have had luck... Don't see why they wouldn't work.
  23. that just gave me a idea for my planos! .... To the OP when your friends come over and say you should open a tackle shop is when you crossed the threshold. Lol
