I would be tempted to say Cumara vs Zillion. The Crucial would be Tatula comparative. The new lines are too new, no ones gonna be able to give a fair response without a good amount of time on the water. Keep a eye on tackle tour for reviews as they come.

I'm gonna use it for jigs. I wouldn't use it for frogs, using 50-80# braid. You need more line capacity. Everything else knock your socks off.

Ok so found out cabelas has lifetime warranty on guide wear. None of the jackets have a vent in hood only Simms and frabill offer that. The guide wear extreme parka has the cuffs. My buddy who has a older set of guide wear probably same age/model as RW's, said the cuffs don't really help and said I'm over thinking it. So I may just keep this set for now. Unless I see a crazy Labor Day deal on something.

Frabill f2,3,4 are all discontinued so if I try those sets I won't be able to get a replacement is there's a leak. Althought what you're saying it may be worth it. Idk I'm lost here. For the amount of money I'm dropping I'm wondering if I should go ahead and drop 7-900 on a Simms set?

RW, hey I'm not crazy about this jacket at all. No cuffs on sleeves no vent in hood, only 2 thin pockets and phone pocket inside. No added protection it seems on zipper. Idk maybe the regular guidewear is where it's at. This is the bass angler model. Bibs are on back order so can't judge those. I'm gonna order the Frabill F4 set and compare. Idk I expected a way better set for the price.

Hey all, ok so after the past few years and building up my arsenal. The baits I've used the absolute most Ive pretty much went as high end as I could afford while still being able to keep a relative budget. However I'm dropping a pretty Penny on a shaky/senko/tube exclusive custom spinning rod with DVT. With that said the next bait I've thrown the most of is a Texas rig, jig too same rod but hell of a lot more fish on soft plastics. Go figure. Anyhow my combo has been. *** 7'3" M/F Curado 201G7 w/ abec 5s on spool and handles. AbrazX 12 & 15lb tests This combo rocks! I love it and was considering the if it ain't broke don't fix it approach, but bait monkey is saying treat yourself and upgrade. On that note was thinking same rod length and action but *** and a Chronarch Ci4 HG. I was thinking go custom again but something I'm gonna be brutal on I would rather have a warranty and a quick turnaround rather than the time lapse of a build. Unlike the finesse I'll handle my shaky rod with. Throw me some ideas!!!! This will probably be a Christmas present to myself on Black Friday or something so I'm not in a rush at all. Just wanna get a idea of options. Reel is a given and about as high I'll go in price unless I can get a JDM for a good deal. Rod is really the kicker here. Thanks all!
