You make a good point, what action/ power is te rod you are using?

Thanks for your opinions everyone right now I'm leaning toward the Carbon lite cause I'm pretty tough on my tackle and I don't want to have to pay for shipping if something unfortunate were to happen

Right now I'm between the BPS carbon lite and the Abu Garcia veritas. But I'm open to any suggestions. I'm pairing it with a lew's TSS. What do you guys recommend?

Also is there anyone that would not recommend the carbon lite and why?

I fish mostly soft plastics and jigs,the occasional spinnerbaits and square bills. I am pretty sure I'm getting the Bps carbon lite and was wondering which action medium or medium heavy would be best for my uses? Thanks

Definitely going with the lew's, what gear ratio would you guys recommend, I mostly throw soft plastics and square bills. Would 6:4:1 be a good choice?

Im getting a new reel and rod combo, I'm pretty sure im going to get a Bass pro carbonlite rod but I cant decide which reel i should get. I have a Silver Max and like Abu Garcia products but I have heard great things about Lew's and want to give them a shot. Thanks in Advance for your responses.
