I just recently started Mountain biking. As maintenance you lube the chains up with a waxed base lube. I was wondering if that would work on reels as well. Any thoughts? Ed

I tried the FG several time. After watching this video couple time I finally go it.

Was wondering if anyone has any input on this line . $24.00 or so for 400 yards seems like a good deal and it says made by Sunline exclusively for Gander Mountain. I using there braid witch seems great to me . Thank you Ed

Tried this knot several times. No luck .pulls right apart. Using 10 lb braid to 12 lb flourocarbon .tried couple diffrent ways also. They above video and like Bassressource video way . Not sure what I'm doing wrong Ed

Wondering if anyone has tried this braid to flouro or copoly line. Takes practice to do but seems strong .I have not fished it yet . Definitely smaller dia knot . Thank you ED

I looked at a bunch of different sites that say the Wilderness System Tarpon 120 and the Perception Pescador 12.0 are the same kayak. But if you look at Dimensions one says pescador is 28" wide and Tarpon 30" wide. any information would be great. Im looking at an older WS Tarpon 120 it has Tupperware hatches. Any info on these would be greatly appreciated Thank you Ed R

I have a Lowrance elite 3 on my kayak that I did get out for the first time this past weekend. My question is what does frequency do, it can be switched between 83 and 200 . Sensitivity , better on auto or manually set it. Read a good setting is between 60-75 Any info would be greatly appreciated Ed

Picked up a 3X tonight, I was wondering what size battery do you use

So I'm looking to buy my would be great. first electronics for kayak fishing and with Bass Pro sale the 4X is $100 off. But is it worth the extra money and is there a huge difference from 3X to the 4X.Also thinking getting the 3X then more gear with the money saved from not buying 4X.Any info greatly appreciated. Are these units ready to go after purchase, is there a need to buy transducer as well.

I'm concerned about the inside of my hull. From what I've seen on Google the FS 10 is flatter on the inside than the A10 . I will try and post pics . The transducer you want flat as possible .....? Correct Ed

Ascend A10, new to kayak fishing . I have seen the duct seal ,but I really don't have any flat spots any where in the kayak. Also don't want to have my fish finder to be worth more than my kayak. Thank you for all the input keep it coming. Ed

Yes a little pricey ,maybe able to make something similar though .There web site is the worse I've seen , tried diffrent browsers same results

I've been kayak fishing for little over a year now and I'm loving it. Looking to get a fish finder but not break the bank. Bass Pro has a Lowrance Elite 3 X for $99.99 . Price point perfect . Was wondering about mounting transducer. Glueing it to bottom or does it need to be in water ? Any info about this unit would be greatly appreciated,99.9% sure I'm going with this unit. Thank you Ed
