Has any one ever used one ? im getting a poweel max to complete the combo . u=im hoping the EXO if its half as good as the quantum smoke baitcaster ill be happy!

i got my son one of those rods , and let me just say very heavy!!!!!

if your going to spend 120.00 my recommendation is go to ebay look for a quantum smoke or exo. you can get one for around 150. they retail for 250 whorth the extra 30 bucks.

just got the quantum EXO 100 5:1 picking it up wednesday! ($151.05 i might add , new in box) i want to use this for crank baits ! Im going to use 10/12/ floro. So now here what im looking at for rods MED ACTION 7 FOOT 1) *** 13 i think this is my pony! 2)veritas 30 ton carbon 3) LAST BUT NOT LEAST st criox mojo bass i would like to get your thoughts on rods , reel weights in at 5.9 0z let me get cha thoughts please!!!!!!!!!!

Im thinking about getting a new reel this weekend . I have a quantum smoke 150 pt 7:3:1 , Ive used my sons Lews 5:1 ( love It) but im thinking about getting a quantum EXO , does anyone own one of these? or any other thoughts ? I can get a new EXO for around $150.00/ a new smoke for about $135.00 and a lews for around $129.00 for the rod im not really sure my sons rod is a KVD ( very heavy) ive got a smoke on my smoke( i think I'm not going with the micro guides), i also own a G_ Lommis gl 2 jig n worm on my c14 stradic ( wondering if the bait caster rod is as good) and suggestions ? I really dont care if its top end as long as it prforms top end!!!!!

well i bought some 50lb test we will see how that works . I thought of 2 things after i posted. 1) backlash only happened after it was out 40-50 yards. 2) and also i wen to check the brake and it was on 5 not 8 . 8 is what i normaly have it on when casting "long range" . also i had the first 50/60 set with 12lb p line polycarbon . im thinking that may have something to do with it. anyway thank you for the help!!!!

well i did check the brakes! l i didnt cast into the wind! thats the problem i cant figure it out? does line conditioner help? ty for the advice!

I bought some suffix 832 30 lbs test to put on my quantum smoke bait caster. 1st time on the lake it cast like a charm, i even trolled around the lake to get the "green off my line" that day it was amazing. fast forward to yesterday. birds nest, birds nest, birds nest, and birds nest. i ended up putting reel down for the day can u tell me what can i do ? or what do i need to do??? thanks !!

yea their nice to have around , but count on paying out the nose for almost everything you buy

I bought a C14 for christmas and paired it up with a g Loomis G2 worm and jig rod. love it !!! $200.00 bucks i dont think you can go wrong with it!!!

Never tried it . but i did buy some suffix 832 last week. Ive never used briad before. i put on my quantum smoke bait caster( love that reel) . i was a little worried never using braid before. I was very impressed. My question is how does power pro compare to suffix 832? because it looks like you guys really like.

Yesterday i used frogs for the first time i got 6 hits i could not get a hook set! line was tight i waited a couple of seconds after the strike to set line, NOTHING. has anyone ever used trialer hooks? I loved watching the bass attack the frog it was so much fun, i just want to land them. any pointers

i bought a quantum 7.3.1 smoke baitcaster with a smoke med heavy rod 6'8 and just let me say this amazing!!!!!!!! go to e bay you can get a brand new smoke reel for 137- 150- price range. and should be able to to get the smoke rod for around $ 80 buck btw i got the micro guides. I PROMIS YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!!!

2 crappie slabs !!!!!! while im fixing a birds nest on my $220 quantum smoke bait caster ,and $129 dollar smoke rod. my daughter slays one with the bass pro shop $40 lady zebco with a white rooster tail !!!! AWESOME !!!!!!!!!! what a great day!! Btw when ever i try to down load a picture , it says file to large. i have a MAC , any suggestions ?

My amazing daughter is in town for the week ! im taking the day OFF ( like a prom dress) no reference to my daughter! LOL Ya know how sweet it is to watch that little girl walk down the stairs and say. " COME ON DADDY LETS GO FISHING"!!!! I dont know what or if we will catch anything, but i do know we will have fun. ill keep you posted!
