  1. I don't usually service reels. So I don't know what to use. I'm gunna take it back & if the new one feels the same I'll keep the other one and clean and lube it up.
  2. Alright. I didn't realize that feeling in the store and when I got back to my house I realized that it was grinding.
  3. I picked up a PQ yesterday. So far , all it's been it's rough feeling and when I reel it has a grinding feeling. Should I go back and exchange it ?
  4. Mojo bass is such a nice rod. The veritas as well. If go with the mojo
  5. Which should I pick up Saturday for the spring classic. I have a little extra for line. If not I'll just buy mono.
  6. I fish usually muddy or dark ponds and lakes. You can see maybe a max of 1 foot maybe 2 at one place and the other depends on water levels and boat traffic. Somebody recommended straight braid.
  7. What's the difference between them and which would be the best all around line. I've heard mixed opinions about them. Sufix 832 Power Pro Yo-zuri hybrid Thanks -Carlos
  8. Cabelas has a nice pflueger president on a tourney trail rod. It feels like a great setup and its only $89.99.
  9. Pick up a BPS Pro Qualifer for $65 with the trade in and maybe a carbon lite . If the carbon lite is a little too pricey I would look at the Berkley lightning shock rod. For line. It depends on your applications. I would look at Power pro . Bass pro has a new braid that came out recently as well. If needed you can always put a Flouro leader.
  10. Does it have a lot of memory?. I hate changing my line after every outing. It's time consuming.
  11. Can yo-zuri be used as a good all around line , including top water ?
  12. I don't need the pike scent. And how would you compare it to jjs magic.
  13. Sold. What's the "best" scent to use. I don't have $36 for all 4 scents.
  14. X2 Pick up a pflueger president for $59.99 and grab a decent rod. Cabelas had some really nice combos. I'm looking at one for my self. Pflueger president / cabelas tourney trail combo.theres a few different sizes and action for any purpose you need. 6'6 medium or medium/light. All purpose. $89.99. Then you have some cash for line ,bait, etc..
  15. Shimmy x2 ? http://www.basspro.com/Bass-Pro-Shops-Shimmy-X2-Worms/product/10217613/?cmCat=CROSSSELL_PRODUCT. Any luck ?
  16. Personally , I keep ALL of my gear in my room. I'm young and work for every inch of it. I kept a rod in my dads truck and the only effect was the line turned into crap for some reason and the grease got really thick. Nothing serious.
  17. http://www.basspro.com/XPS-Stalker-Tackle-Bag-or-System/product/10221672/
  18. Weight isn't a factor . I'm picking up an ambassaduer for salmon and bigger fish . I have $160 for a reel , bu ti would like to spend less so i can have more money for tackle .
  19. $65 if you do the trade in. An even better deal.
  20. Dang . You really summed it up. I just don't want to second guess myself like somebody mention earlier. I can always get the revo later. But at full price. But the price for the pq is fantastic.
  21. Shimano rods are great for backbone. I used my uncles many times. Great feel to it & they're very sensitive.
  22. The revo is $129 regularly and $100 with the trade in. The pro qualifier is $100 regularly and $65 with discount and trade in. Pq has DBS and revo is centrifugal.
  23. That would be great ;D if only.
  24. How would you compare the Bass pro pro qualifier & the Abu Garcia revo s ? I'm looking at both of them and started to lean towards the pq because of the $. But I always seem to go back to the revo. Suggestions ?
