  1. Go with the pro qualifier. Only $65 with the reel trade in coming up in the next 2 weeks.

  3. I don't need a combo. I'm buying a reel and I already have a rod. And I have around $85 for lures and tackle.
  4. That's why I was looking for suggestions. So many choices and I'm going to try senkos this year. I have a few small lakes full of 3-5lbers.
  5. I have plenty of line . I have quite a few lipless cranks , few spinnerbaits ,no more jigs, a few plastics. My stock in baits went down a lot from taking family members fishing and always getting hung up.
  6. I have around $80 for bass pro to buy lures ,baits and terminal tackle with. So the question is , what should I buy?
  7. the sahara is a smooth reel . i'm giving my uncle & dad one for fathers day . i think they feel smoother than the president.
  8. The 4000 seems pretty big , i usually use 8lb mono. never had a problem . and i get great casting distance from a $35 daiwa .
  9. I haven't used either , but have played with them at my local bass pro . very solid reels.
  10. the title says it all . whats your preferred spinning reel under or around $100. durablity , versatilty,castabliy, features .etc..
  11. My grandfather had a few a couple years ago on his bass boat . They caught many bass .
  12. You should be fine , as long as you don't go heavier than that . But it depends on the manufacturer of the rod .

  16. I never really had bad luck like that but , I managed to get my hands on a pretty old st croix rod. It's in great condition for its age.
  17. For that much , I could put a revo on a triumph when the rod-reel trade in comes. I'll go in to bps tomorrow and look at it though.
  18. BPS Micro Lite's are big out here for river/creek salmon & trout . 8' and up .
  19. i've gone in there many times just to compare reels . i really like the revo s . but i get more cash in late march , so i might spend an easy 170 on the reel. i felt the veritas , really nice and i like the st croix triumph . but it feels a little stiff .
  20. What are the best lures for bass in the spring outside the e.c marina . If you're familiar with that area .
  21. Check out salt creek sometime for trout ! Or you can behind the casino boat for salmon . Just a few helpful spots .

  24. is the citica going to be on the list for the reel trade in ? I know shimano doesn't participate . and lew's doesn't have a contract with bps . just cabela's ( locally)
