I had gotten a hold of some UV Hogs, Tubes, and even some spinners....I haven't had much luck so far. The UV spinnerbait has caught me a few but it didn't totally revolutionize my fishing experience. I'm going to try some different locations and techniques first before I call UV tackle a hoax, because I have seen it work, but not much in my favor haha. They're relatively cheap and fun to experiment with if nothing else.

Anybody going to the ATC-CAG ?? Or has anybody ever been to a Carp tournament? I'll be visiting Austin to spectate in the CAG tournament in a few weeks. I'm not registered, nor do I have the proper rig, to carp fish in the competition but it'll be fun nonetheless. Carp are really interesting but the process is a little too slow for my liking....however my interest always flares up when I see my Father in Law reel in a 30lb goldfish on steroids...

Hi! I'm Norgge. I'll leave the pronunciation of Norgge up to your imagination I've been prowling this website for a while now learning new things and decided it was time to actually join. I'm from Dallas/Fort Worth down here in Texas. I've been fishing off and on since I was little when my Dad used to take me. I really don't get to travel much but I usually fish in local lakes and rivers such as the Brazos or really any spot I stumble across. Can't say as I have the best of luck but I always have a good time.
