When to clean a fishing reel and how often do you do it? What type of oil/lube do you use?

What type of equipment you guys carry to go fishing? Wheter it's bank fishing or not. I mainly bank fish since I'm boatless so I carry a rod holder incase I sink, a hunting knife for protection, a flashlight for early morning or late night fishing, matches just incase needed, piler for fish, nail clipper to clip off fishing lines, and sometime a foldable chair backpack.

Anybody ever tried these? I heard they are similar to senko's.

I've thought about getting a fishing kayak but then again to me it's quite lonely fishing alone without a fishing buddy since I've always go fishing with a buddy or two and due to superstition I feel like going with a partner instead of going alone. But then again there are also 2 seaters kayak's too but sometimes I would go fish with a group of three's. That's what makes me think I should get a fishing canoe instead that have 3 seater or 4. But then again why not just get a flatbottom aluminum boat with a trolling motor? Which seems alot better than a kayak or a canoe? But then again since I don't wanna invest too much for a starter boat too. Sheez I need help. What do you guys think? Also I apologize for using But then again phrases too much. Thanks guys.

For texas rig which or the two is best for this techinque? And for drop shotting which of the two is best? Or which one is more effective?

Anybody ever tried these sucker? I've did and I've had no lucky with em. What about you guys?

What determine a rod lure rating and rod action when it's not lable on the fishing rod?

New to bass fishing and I was wondering what's a nice combo starter? What I have in mind is the 6'6 medium action pflueger trion gx-37 combo other than that I have no idea or clue of setting up a seperate build set up(rod and reel). What do you guys think I should do? I'm planning to spend at most $100 on the combo. And for the set up build I'm willing to put in $150 since it seem like set up build is better? I'm planning on using soft plastic more and more of a finesse type which is smaller bait size or worm.(Correct me if I'm wrong of using finesse term.) What I'm planning to do is drop shot, t-rig, shakey head, mini crank, mini top water and maybe throw some soft plastic frog. I don't know if this is too much technique for a single rod because from what I read each rod do different things ... I just want a all round rod/reel to start bass fishing. [EDITED] I mainly bank fish since I don't have a boat or a kayak ... also what's a good line for spinning reel?/
