What are some effective bass scent that have worked for you guys? Brand and flavor?

if you like garlic you want powerteam lures hog tonic. That stuff will make a person who bottles garlic for a living take notice.

I don't think Bass scent is very attractive. My wife hates it when I come home smelling like fish. Lol

JJ's Magic, a garlic scent, chartreuse or clear.

I started using MegaStrike Original a month ago. The stuff is the real deal. 75% of the time when i caught a fish on a jig, he was hooked in the roof of the mouth. The fish absolutley smoked them and wouldnt let go! On the jerkbaits i rubbed it on, i noticed that if they short striked it, theyd come back and hit it a second time more than half of the time.

There are probably alot of good scents and attractants outt there, but MegaStrike has my complete attention. It is the real deal.

When I want the wife and kids to leave me alone I just open the bottle for 2 seconds.  The stink drives them away quickly!

Just rub it all over your body and go for a swim. Just you, Megastrike, and a net. 

MegaStrike is slick, grease up an Arky Head jig and yyou can skip that thing a mile. Lol I

SpeedBead made a joke about using it has bearing grease...not too far from the truth lol. Jk bobby

Berekely Scent, it's worked well for me over the years when I've used scent.

This site has one official attractant or bass scent sponsor; MegaSrike listed on the right side bar and unofficial JJ's Magic. I believe MegaSrike is worth trying, JJ's Magic may requires special handling from what has been posted.

My preferences based on my experiences are;

Pork rind trailers, fresh garlic and pure anise oil.

Soft plastics, except swimbit, Edge Hot Sauce.

Soft plastic swimbaits, Pro-Cure trout butter.

Attractants that have worked for me;

Bang, Smelly Jelly and original Berkley bass attractant.

I have had zero luck with smelly jelly or the gulp spray on scents. I just pre dipped some Senkos with JJ's to try and fish tomorrow. I almost passed out when I smelled the bag!

My wife hates the smell of jjs on my hands. She will literally hand me some Dawn soap and make me wash my hands at the water hose outside when i come in the house. My wife is SUPER laid back, but not when in comes to that stuff.

The crazy thing is, its not like i get it on my hands when i dip baits. It just comes from handling the bait and re rigging the bait after a snag or a fish.

A 4 oz bottle of smelly jelly in baitfish scent. Perfect for putting a few drops in the hook slot of a fluke.

I can't believe Gambler isn't using Shimano's Garlic,Craw,Shad & Worm scents. Must have forgot about those! LOL

Gulp refill stuff. I don't know if it makes them hold on longer, but I've seen how after it disperses the fish get more active. Just have to stick to the same spot for a while and they start bubbling at the surface.
