So just bought a new lews lfs and im in need of some line. Why does some people use mono and some use fluorocarbon whats the difference in the two i know fluro is more abrasion resistent. so why choose one line over the other???also in what poundage should i go with on either

went with the lightning rod saw and heard alot of good things for the price point

whats the difference in the shock and reg lightning rod ive notice alot of ppl perfer the reg lightning rod over the shock why is that?

I really all depends I catfish mostly the James river in VA

Catfishing with a low profile baitcaster anyone fishes with one I really dont wanna go out and buy a round baitcaster I catfish right now with spinning reels and have plenty of low profile bait cast reels so what's y'all experience with one...I do have a bait cast spooled with 50lb pp for frogs and tough vegetation would that work??

I have my own boat been to Powhatan lakes plenty of times still looking for that one lake that not everyone knows about

For instance DGIF has a list of lakes in va but I got on Google earth and found a lake that wasn't listed which is called dover lake in goochland and found out its a pretty good lil lake but never heard of it

I've fished arrow head and bear creek I've been thinking about giving nottaway a try and is slate river lake any good that's in buckingham correct?

Is there any lakes that's tucked away that's still public fishing that not everyone one and their mother knows about or even public ponds in live in Cumberland VA something in surrounding counties maybe an hour drive I can do thanks folks
