  1. Collar bone is healing up nicely! I'm going to try fishing Potanipo tonight just to get out on the water.
  2. I broke my collar bone last week so no fishing for a bit. However I will make sure I'm fishing by October 2nd to help Jitterbug and I qualify! Hopefully the fish cooperate.
  3. Fished the Keene Highschool Bass Open this morning. We placed 1st with 12.96 lbs and biggest largemouth bass. Biggest fish weighed was 3.75 but we accidentally chose the wrong lunker to weigh after looking in the bag lol. Next is the State Qualifier.
  4. Fishing a high school tournament on the Connecticut in Hindesdale on Saturday, hoping to land a good bag. If anyone has some tips they'd be much appreciated!
  5. Just wondering, does anyone have experience fishing the Connecticut River in Hinsdale? Gonna be doing a tournament there in a few weeks and any info will help.
  6. Got out fishing with a few friends during a camping trip yesterday. It was tough between the wind and trying to show 6 people who have very limited fishing experience the ropes. After countless stops to untangle and retie peoples lines I got onto a good fish for myself. Weighed 4lb 5oz at 18.5 inches. Edit, my friend isn't the greatest photographer but these get the job done.
  7. I was going to ask this same thing lol. My sister is moving up there soon and I'm going to need something to do when I go visit her.
  8. If you get there really early then it's worth it I think. Got there around 7:30 the other day with a friend of mine. There was a thick fog covering the lake and the fish were biting pretty well. We both boated over a dozen smallies within about 2 hours. Biggest was 2lb 14 oz.
  9. I stopped by Mt.Williams pond today for about an hour because I was passing through Weare. Caught 4 decent smallies within a half hour and missed one about 2.5 lbs. It's a designated trout pond but there are a whole bunch of smallies in there that hardly anyone targets. They fought extremely hard for their size and I will definitely go back to fish it more thoroughly.
  10. Visited my sister this weekend and fished Dudley Pond and Craney Pond in Henniker. I fished Dudley on friday until about 11 oclock at night. The day time bite was decent but as soon as the sun went down the pigs came out. Got about 10 between 1 and 3 lbs until I got slammed by a huge one. Got it all the way to the canoe before it spit my jitterbug, had to have been at least 5lbs. I woke up feeling like crud so I didn't get fishing till around 5 the next day but I landed a few decent ones from Craney, biggest was about 3 lbs.
  11. I had to help my uncle set up a dock at his camp on Crescent Lake in Ackworth which meant an opportunity to go fishing. I only fished for an hour and a half or so but I landed 3 smallies, 2 largemouth and a pickerel. Biggest was about 2 lbs.
  12. After returning from Salisbury I hit Horton's Pond in Mont Vernon today, a lot of short strikes and watched a few fish even inhale my jig but I just couldn't set the hook. Does anyone have any info about the pond? With all the structure in there I figure there should be some pigs.
  13. Got out for a bit this after noon, 5 bass in total. 3 on a chartreuse and white colorado blade spinnerbait, 1 on a shakey head and 1 on a buzzbait. Things are starting to really heat up out there!
  14. A possibility, I'm supposed to be doing a tourney there on May 10th but I'm not sure if my dad will agree to let me use his boat without him haha,
  15. Yeah we definitely need to work on our language for when we become professionals, however we do always make sure to have our flotation devices on. I'm not sure why we didn't this time but it could have been a huge mistake! I definitely learned from our little mishap last summer. On another note, after S.A.Ts on Saturday me and Jitterbug will most likely be back at it again and I'll be filming the trip for another video!
  16. First official video of Jitterbug and I! Beware we get excessively profane at one point so we apologize. Thanks for watching!
  17. In reply to Jitterbug's post, I am beyond mad. For whatever reason the video didn't save to my camera! I'm trying to find it but it doesn't look like it's there.
  18. I hit up Craney Pond because its so close. It's a really great fishery because the access sucks so bad haha
  19. Lol you spotted me didn't you Mike? I headed up to my sister's house in Henniker. Stopped at Sunset on my way up with no luck. I hit a pond up in Henniker that required a bit of Subaruing to get to but it was worth it. 5 bass and 2 pickerel all on a baby rage craw, biggest was around 1.5 lbs
  20. I'll be taking the top spot with 145 inches, thank you.
  21. Got out for a bit today before watching the lacrosse game and got this guy on the first cast with a home made spinnerbait. Spring is here!
  22. Well they aren't bass but we're getting closer!
  23. The Sunfish are staging up to the shallows at a small local pond, can't be too long now!
  24. Yeah Jitterbug stay away from the girls! That being said Jitterbug and I fished a little bit today, still nothing but the ice is fully melted. I figure by Monday they'll bite. Gotta help my father clean up and sell the Monark so we can bring home the Ranger. It's gonna be a good year!
