  1. Didn't mean to miss your post 5dollarsplash, but I wasn't able to do much research here or get on the forum or even get on a lake ONCE this year!.... It is my determined goal to scramble to get things together for an X-mas gift this year and to also go fishing next year with my pops. Thanks to everyone for all the welcomes that followed my previous post. I wish I could spend some more time here!
  2. Thanks Wolf, and thank you Darren. You know, it's funny, I came on here to put things together for my pops but I think I'll be getting on the water myself real soon.
  3. Hello, everyone. I joined up to learn the basics and maybe a few tricks of the trade so to speak. My dad is retiring in about a year and I'd like to put the "ultimate" bass-fishing setup together for him. He's always enjoyed fishing but never really had the time to get into it so I think it'll mean a lot to him to be able to get out there and reel some in. Anyway, I'm glad to be here. If anyone has any suggestions on reading for a newbie, books, articles, charts etc... I'd be happy to hear it! My name is Andy, nice to meet you all!
