Just depends on the spots/areas you fish. I've caught fish off of 6in hard swimbaits, 7in soft swimbaits, my friend use to catch bass with his 8in swimbaits. So they work but when you are going up in size you are targeting bigger/more aggressive bass haven't caught a fish off a swimbait in a while but I only do shore fishing don't have a boat.

The past couple of days a few bites from snakeheads, but last week my friends and I couldn't stop catching them. Most people are catching shad right now down by the waterfall. Might be out there Saturday after I hit up some other spots.

Hey guys just joined the forum, I've been looking at this thread for a while now, and the snakeheads are definitely out. In a week of fishing me and my friends have caught 8 of them. I had the biggest one ive seen on my line today but as soon as I was bringing him up the line snapped, so if anyone catches one with a deep diving kvd crank still stuck in the side of its mouth let me know lol.
