Soft Plastic Making
People are so negative. Lol. You can buy plaster of paris for like 5 bucks( however, you spell it). Then make your own molds. Using a old microwave (20 bucks yard sale) and a microwave safe glass measuring cup (pirex, 2 bucks yard sale)to melt down old plastic (free if you ask people ), ( don't melt down zman plastic). It is tricky melting plastic but you will get the hang of it. Just heat it slow and stir often. Respirator (50 bucks)will be needed melting soft plastic stinks. Now we are talking about less than 100 bucks. Joys of being creative ( Priceless)!!! Then slowly but surely you can grow your materials and equipment as big or as small as you want to get. That will get you started on the cheap were you go from there is on you. May the force be with you!!! Jay D

Potomac River Snakehead Fishing
I have had tremendous luck with chatterbaits just make sure to cast past where you think they are and not land to close to them as they will often spook when something splashes near them. Also Flukes and Senko's work great to when a stealthier or weedless presentation is required. Frogs work great when they are in very deep cover like pads or grasses. Poppers fished with quick pauses is probably the most exciting when you cant see them. My favorite is the chatterbait when I can see them though. The snakehead will cover a lot of water in a hurry to get at one. There is nothing like watching one take off like a missile after your bait. That's my two cents tight lines.

Wiggle or wobble
The question is what are you looking for a tight wobble or a wide wobble. The wider the bigger and slower the wobble. More narrow equals faster wobble. J-

Potomac River Snakehead Fishing
Typically they can be caught on any bait that a Bass will hit. But the most common ones I have had luck with is Chatterbaits or rattletraps in the day, top water in the morning and night, and slack tides sinko's /flukes. If you have one that surfaces in the same spot over and over, a jig or shaky heads can be effective.

The One That Got Away.
Oh my very interesting story. I was about 15 years old fishing with live worms (alive until the hook goes through them anyway) on a railroad bridge on the Potomac river. I get this little light bite and I set the hook and the rod stays loaded up. I was like great I snagged the bridge. I lift up on the rod and it feels like a piece of a log that I may be able to bring to the surface so I set the "log" back on the bottom. I shout out to my buddy to come over so that when this log surfaces he can unhook it. About 30 seconds later my buddy makes it over to me and this "log" takes off like a bullet, burning drag ( 20lbs test with spinning gear). I screamed out OMG and snap!! I didn't even want to fish anymore. The weight of this thing when I was lifting it off the bottom felt like nothing I have ever caught to this day( I have caught catfish up to 35lbs. I shed a tear every time I think about it!! J-

Anyone Hit The Occoquan Reservoir Lately?
Chopo I wish I had your type of luck. I get stopped by the game warden out there about 5+ times a year sometimes twice a week. I have seen a lot of bass boats out there with the big motors completely out of the water. I am not sure if that is sufficient but I have never seen them getting in any trouble. J-

Anyone Hit The Occoquan Reservoir Lately?
How does Friday Oct 10th 7pm sound to all. If we plan it to far in the future everyone will have things come up. Oh yeah and I guess we will need a count if to many people are going, we may need to reserve something. Brittany's is located just north of opitz blvd on old bridge road. We can also change the location if someone knows a better spot. Jay
